court, i currently own a blast a want to move up to a bigger bike. i REALLY like the new xb12s, and think i'm a good enough rider to handle that bike. what i want to know is, would you recommend a xb9s or 12? I'm 6'1" and 170lbs, and every now and then my girlfriend wants to ride. I have read that the 12 is much smoother and of course faster. but i was going to buy a gsxr750 before i decided buell was my true love. i thank you for your advise in advance. |

Before I purchased my 1125R, I had an XB12Ss. More seating room and comfort for those of us that are over 6'. I didn't notice any handling differences between the 12Ss and the XB9. But, I only had the 9 on the track, not the 12. |

No apology necessary . . . . good advise, particularly that based on experience, us always valuable. I'd go , based on the type of riding and machinery you're talking about with the 12. |

I'd suggest that if passenger comfort is a consideration, you go with an Ss (Lightning Long) over the S model. It still handles, but it gives a passenger a little more room. It also holds more fuel. |

And if you really want passenger comfort get a Uly or UlyXT. Both are sginficantly heavier and quite a change in size going from a Blast though. |
