If you're in a real bind I think my stock Dunslops are still at Eric's unless he's burned 'em yet. They suck, but they've only got about 5K on 'em... Surprised it took me that long to get rid of them! |

They were burned up last year Scotty, Not many tires live long lives near me! I do have some Diablo's at the house (corsa's) Not sure of there tread off hand. I bet sides are fine center is...so..so.. If you get stuck speak up! I have a No-Mar-Bar and can change tires in a couple hours time. I will have it at the track w/ me and the tires too! Just in case.. (Message edited by firebolteric_ma on April 22, 2008) |

i have the 208s on my bike and they stick just fine, even with oil all over them! any of you guys that still need tires figure 25% off buell.com pricing i just have to make sure they're in stock at the factory and ready to ship before you order! that's pirelli's or dunlops. btw i'll try the pirellis next but i'm gonna have high expectations with all the smack youz guys talk about the dunlops, have any of y'all had the 208's? i know the 207's sucked but i've done well with the 208's. |

Tripp....... I'm sure there's a good reason why Buell made the switch to Pirelli. When I switched, I felt like I had a COMPLETELY different bike. |

np greg stock is 170, everybody seems to want to put a 180 on there but 170 gives just enough room with the hugger. damb greg, that's plain ugly, i hope it did'nt damage that fancy pulley cover |

I was on my way home from work yesterday and noticed my bike just didn't feel "right". It felt like there was a lot of slack when I let off/on the gas. I pulled over and saw that. I rode ~20 miles to home like that without a problem. |

I just tried at home and it worked just fine for me. Are you getting an error message or something? I use it all the time with my customers and they never have a problem. |

shit, Jim, was that a FreeSpirits unit? any clue why it snapped? i just had mine off yesterday and noticed it was cutting into the rear straps a tad. hmmm, never used the spacer/washers on the inside 'cause it fits the belt perfect. i used a dremel to smooth out the inner portion that was making contact. Erik, good to chat yesterday, i had to run when i picked up the wheel a few hours later so didnt find you again. bike is looking gouda! hope the tail works out. and btw, they didnt nick my wheel this time! wOoT! |
