I am contemplating taking the '05 in for a 40,000 mile check. Thinking I need to change front fork oil and have the isolator mount replaced. And just a good once over. I know there is a stand alone Buell shop(Seminole) near Orlando - any experience dealing with service department? I Have not had a mechanic touch my bike ever. I fear letting a stranger mess with what so far has been a stellar machine. I am a good pupil as my husband figures his way around an unfamiliar beast, but want to be sure I don't encounter problems when I'm hundreds of miles away from home. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

Themagster: My 2000 BLAST Hand Book(as does the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL) only goes to the last SERVICE of 25000 miles ... Does this mean if "i" was to actually take my BLAST to a Dealer they would have to make up Service Work after 25000 miles ??? Can not find anything on recomend'ed Fork Oil Change mileage ??? In BLASTing LaFayette |

Doing the fork oil change, or for that matter, the seal replacement on the Blast is a piece of cake. It is really do-able with standard tools and a little bit of know how! All of the proceedures have been addressed in the knowledgevault. |

I highly recommend Lakeland Harley Davidson/Buell...those folks know how to make you feel at home. And they speak Buell...no snobs there...great people. |
