I`ve been looking at the Wakan pics for a couple years now,I know its` a rare beast and realise that I will probably never see one-especialy at that price.Their website has a pic of the frame and there`s almost nothing holding the engine in the frame, and they say there are 8 mounting points to engine. Has anyone seen one,or have any idea how they mounted the engine in that virtually single tube frame`and promise unusual frame rigidity? It must shake like a hot Feritt. |

"It must shake like a hot Feritt." hahahahahahahahahaha. I'm writing that one down. Sorry...I really have nothing of value to add to this thread. Love the Wakans myself too though. |

It basically mounts just like a Buell does, except the frame goes over the top instead of wrapping around. There are some kit bikes out there that do the same thing (Redneck I think has one with no downtubes for a sporty engine). Take a look at the pics - http://www.engmore.com/design_files/choices/choice s05.jpg There are two mounting points on the front of the front head, two more between the heads, two more on the back of the rear head, and the last two are on the back of the primary case. |

I want a primary cover like that. Is it from a vendor? Anyone know who makes it? |
