They cut 2 or 3 model variants of it this year, and added one I think. I really doubt it will b eliminated. I think someone heard half the story. |

I think that HD could drop the one of the night-rods, and add a V-rod sport touring model. Something with modern styling, aerodynamics, handling, increased range, and comfort for the long haul, like the FJR1300, ST1300, R1200RT, and to a lesser extent, Concours 14. Now if they could get the styling "right" and the performance on par with the competition, I'd most likely purchase one. I believe that a V-rod based touring bike makes more sense in HD's lineup than a 1125R based sport-tourer. If Buell built a 1125 Tourer, it should be more "sport" than "tour". An American Triumph Sprint 1050 per se. |

Please say NO The v-rod is the only HD I really like. In fact can you still get it anodized? I really loved the first year, but I haven't seen any of those for some time. Maybe Cityxslicker, or Court can chime in. |

There's no way in hell HD will drop the VROD completely. They spent way to much developing it. I can see it being expanded into some other models. |

Vagabond, I like your thinking. I think HD could get the styling right. It would be a great machine. Recently there seems to be an upsurge in V-Rods here in the West Valley. |

Was thumbing thru the parts book when I was in the shop last week - they've got some nice double up seats with backrests you can get for the vrod... |

I have the VRod Street Rod in stock, ready to roll.... That to me is the big naked water cooled bike. If Buell build that set up (ride geometry but lighter weight) with the rotax motor and the BUELL brand on it. In Orange of course. The VRSCDX is very popular locally. I would wager that the Water cooled platform will continue due to the EPA and their environmental whacko lawyers. But what do I know,I am just a sales guy in the trenches, they tell me very little. |

I know it's not practical for many reasons, but it would be cool if the VRod engine was an option for every model HD makes. I wonder how many takers there would be. Bill |
