Wildcat Rules!!!!!!!!! Thanks to all the Brew City guys that made it this weekend. I think a great time was had by everyone. I dropped off the film today and should be able to have pictures posted tomorrow (if I can remember how that's done). As for the August 3-4 weekend.... It looks like Greg is out. We'll need a new plan for meeting times and a new leader. I don't know if I'll make the races on Sunday. Also as a side note, DO NOT try taking I-43 to the factory on Saturday!!! The Grateful Dead reunion tour is at Alpine Valley. The roads will be packed and there will be security at all the off ramps. |

yeah, but those deadheads are easy to pass, and following them closely can alter your state of mind . . .for free! |

As a "reformed" deadhead (love the music hate the drugs), I regret I'll miss the show (unless I get my free tickets which I'd probably see for $$$$$) I'll still carry the memories of the "olden" days with the skull sticker on my Buell. |

FYI: Tours run from 8:00am - 1:00pm. There will be a Q&A time with Erik from 10:00am-11:00am. Then Erik will draw the winning ticket for the new XB9R. I guess I'll be getting up early that day. |

WOW, I was on my bike on Saturday. My Bicycle that is. Did my annual 150 miles this weekend for the Leukemia society. Kind of hard to believe that I actually won something considering I ran the course at Hal's maybe ten times, and that was the only event I was able to make. |

10 points is 10 points. First you sign autographs, then you get a trophy. Sounds good on the bicycle ride. I don't think I've had mine off the rack once this year for anything, too busy with other stuff. Next year I'll shoot for -20Lbs and 1,000 miles on the pedals. The Firebolt guy who won 1st place duct taped the trophy to his back seat. Don't know if anyone got a picture of that, but it would have looked great. Hope he made it home with the wings intact on the trophy. Nice guy, and he seemed to be really enjoying himself out there, got that 'bolt sliding a few times in the corners and was always within a hair of clipping the cones he was that close. |

Nah, it was Jerry that did the autographing. At the b-trax at Hal's a woman brought her kids. One of them asked Jerry for his autograph and was rooting for him to win. Still, autographs or no, still a great way to spend a day. And only the third event in 5 years to be crash-free, that was good. Probably see you on the 3rd in East Troy. |
