I'm thinking about running out route 33 out of Harrisonburg tomorrow. I'm leaving Purcellville about 8 to 8:15 and will be in Harrisonburg about 9:30. I'm going to run west over towards Judy's Gab, maybe sound to 250 and back to 81? Anyone Interested? |

>> shlumps? c'mon, they're just your typical dealer -- bikes, freebies, with no accessories. The GM there got the 1st 1125 in, while I waited for #2 -- no issues. Ratbuell (who I've yet to meet) & Frederick aren't your typical dealer. |

Wow...thanks Our display came out quite nicely, too...25th tees, new embroidered buttonups and jackets, and the Icon gear (helmets, jackets and gloves). FINALLY, a Buell section with some content!! |

man... wish you weren't across the river and through the woods (and I didn't feel house-bound [on-call this weekend]), otherwise I'd see you tomorrow. |

XB9er and myself rode down to Buell of Frederick (we all know they are a Buell dealer that sells HD also, "not the other way around") and scored the Hydration Pack. Pretty Cool piece! Put in right at 280 miles round trip, couldn't have asked for better weather. Traffic sucked. Riding the XT was SWEET!. I can see one in my future some day. Smooth as a baby's bottom on bumps and bridges. Didn't really get up to a hwy cruising speed with all the traffic. If you're in the market for a Buell, go see Ratbuell (Joe). Buell of Fred has a nice apparel display and a lot of bikes out on the sales floor along the front wall. I'll let Xb9er post up about his test ride. |

They are Buell friendly there for sure at Frederick. Well I'm off. Purcellville, Harrisonburg, then 33 to mid day somewhere? I'm on my cell 301 873 1920 with the helmet phone :-) I'm riding alone, in West By God Virginia. EDIT: Wow, 408 Miles. I was having too much fun. (Message edited by bearly on April 20, 2008) |

I stopped out to HDoF on Friday for some parts and had chance to demo the 1125R. What a fine piece of machinery... very refined and just super fun to ride. The tach never saw past 7 though with all the local traffic. I ran into Toona and XB9er while I was there. Maybe I'll get out ride with you guys sometime this season. I picked up some Buell attire while I was at it. Great prices on hats, shirts, and the Vanson air mesh jacket. All in all, a great experience there at HDoF. Thanks Joe. Joe, I forgot to write down the brand of the fairing you suggested. |

Motorcycle Riders are Needed! The Federal Highway Administration’s Office of Highway Policy Information, Office of Safety, and the National Highway Safety Administration are holding a motorcycle traffic detector demonstration at FHWA’s Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center located at 6300 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA, 22101 on Monday, May 5, 2008, between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. If you are a licensed motorcycle rider, we need you! Your participation in this event will enable us to demonstrate current equipment and technology used in motorcycle travel monitoring. The objective is to demonstrate the capability and limitations of existing traffic detectors to collect motorcycle travel data throughout the U.S. for the purpose of motorcycle rider safety exposure analysis (motorcycle miles traveled). In the process, you will gain insight into FHWA’s travel monitoring program, safety issues, and industry’s historical perspective on motorcycle production. Also, you will have first hand experience with how various traffic detectors are used in monitoring highway traffic in the U.S. You will be asked to ride with others in different patterns and formations at various speeds (35 miles per hour or less). The event will start at 9:30 am and conclude by 3:30 PM. We are expecting that total riding time for you will not exceed one hour. Lunch will be provided. For further information, please contact: Harshad Desai, PE Division of Travel Monitoring and Surveys Office of Highway Policy Information Federal Highway Administration 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE Washington, DC 20590 202-366-5047 (phone) Harshad.Desai@DOT.GOV ____________________________________________ I'll be there. |

Bryce.. Relax.. I've got the pictures.. However, job one for this is to get them to Joe. Then, I'll select a few and put them up so you can see them. I'm also trying to get ready for Moto-St - I got a look at the set up and both the practice session and the race are in the morning, so I'm not going to have much time to get situated and sorted down there.. DAMN! |

Peter - if you have one or two good ones (just to get started) fire them off to marketing@hdoffrederick.com. Heather is putting content together so we can go live and a couple pics are better than none. I sent her a couple from my "dirty Uly" loop through the watershed last night - they're nothing special, just popped them with my little 5mp pocket cam. Good luck at the race! |

Joe.. Only one or two?? Ok, I'll keep the numbers down.. I'm still sorting but I'll try and send some soon. I'll pluck maybe a few more then 'one or two' and send them to her. Ask if she can handle full res or if I should send a 'small' version for use? |

Nope Ferris, I'm incognito now. (white-blah) AND I'm still not able to make with the go-fast yet, still awaiting the last two parts I need. Got em thanks to Joe for stripping em off a showroom bike! I can make with the go-fast now. Well, for about 30 mins until the back tire gets low on air... My life is full of these little struggles. (Message edited by smiley1eye on April 24, 2008) |

OK, my bike still won't run when you roll on the throttle hard. I've heard people talk about Al at americansportbike, how do I get in touch with Al or someone else that can load up my ECM for the micron exhaust and KN air filter? Thanks folks. |
