At Willow Springs on April 12 and 13,the Glendale race team will be competing in the Moto Corsa Classic. Gate entry will be $10 for racing and there will be a swap meet as well. On April 20th they will be back out at Willow Springs for WSMC Race. On April 25-26 the race team will be out at California Speedway for Formula X where Slipp Dixon will be racing the XBRR. H-D Buell of Glendale would like to thank the following sponsers: Sanitec Industries, Pride Printing, Milwauke, Catalyst Racing Composites, Lyndall Racing Brakes, and Tomahawk. Once again hope to see everyone out at the track supporting some good Buell Racing! |

I'd encourage ANYBODY with an interest in Buell racing and vintage racing to come out. Exciting stuff AND getting to see some pretty rare and exotic vintage machinery is worth hanging out for the whole day (yes, there is a lot of time between the Glendale Twins classes of racing!) Probably might even have Ernie Snair (sales dude extraordinaire) racing the Aermacchi (not confirmed - just hoping since I had seen the beautiful beastie) Last I heard we might even have Mario out playing again. How cool is that when you see the Buell salesman and Glendale's Ops Manager out racing? Hope to see some of you guys out there. We're trying to setup our BBQ again on Sunday... gotta get the racing season going PROPERLY! Come on out. For the price of a movie, you get a full day's entertainment. Come on out. For the price of a movie, you get a full day's entertainment. And you get to argue with Steve! That's always a lot more fun in person compared to on the board here.. These races are fun and competitive.. Check out some of last years action in this thread |

I'll be out this Saturday and Sunday to watch the vintage iron running around. That ought to be great fun! I hope to have my 1125R back in time for Fontana later in the month to do a spectator lap or two. |

Hoooboy - Glendale's going to put an 1125R on the track!!?? Wondering WHOse 1125R??? You all just GOTTA come out to see the AHRMA racing! You get to see Glendale STAFF and riders out playing on the racetrack. Very few dealers ANYWHERE in the USA can make that claim!! (Hey Asbjorn - let's organize a ride out to Fon-Tucky at the end of the month! - we're overdue for a regularly scheduled last-Sunday-of-the-month ride anyways) |

Glendale's Jeff Dixon is going to be racing their XBRR at Fontana in AMA Formula Extreme! Dixon has been instructing for a few years with a local track day operator at Fontana and he's so comfortable there that we're confident that he'll qualify very well. He's terribly fast on his worst days so this promises to be quite interesting!!! We are planning a group ride starting at Glendale on the morning of Saturday 26th. Formal announcement will be forthcoming out of Glendale but I needed to get it posted up with enough time so you can make some plans! This is NOT going to be a scenic ride - there's just not enough time to do a nice ride and get to Fontana in time for the first practice sessions... so yeah... it's the super slab run to FonTucky. Stay tuned for more information. Note: not a typo - Formula Extreme IS running on Saturday! |

Very cool! I saw that Walt was pre-registered for Barber, so there should be some Buells in the next couple FX races. I also saw that Nate Kern is going to be riding the HP2 at Barber. Shaping up to be an interesting FX season. |

Still haven't gotten a confirmed time from the Glendale folks. Their staff will already be at the track but they're supposed to have some coffee and donuts or something like that for those of us doing the ride. Figuring that the first on-track session is often as early as 0900, we'd probably meet at 0700, pull out at 0730 - those are guesses right now. Stay tuned, should know in next day or so. We're down on the dyno tomorrow starting at 8 for a re-tune of the XBRR for the lower elevation after the new top end. Always something. |

Come out to WIllow Springs on Sunday May 18th. Bartels Shawn Higbee Vs. Jeff "Slipp" Dixon. $10 bucks to get you in, plus Glendale will be providing BBQ lunch in our VIP pit row tent. Come ride with fellow race enthusiasts. We're all meeting at the dealership for a quick breakfast, and depart at 10:30am for the track. We're taking the scenic route to Willow Springs. This is not a dealer organized ride. |

Just got off the dyno at Lancaster with Glendale's XBRR - she's running SWEEET! Just got off the phone with Shawn Higbee, he's hoping to get the re-valved, AK-20 (maybe) front end and the chain drive/swingarm/sprockets all on tomorrow (he is probably in the air about over Nevada right now) Gonna be a big weekend for Buell Racing out here locally! Just wait... Lancaster HD/Buell might end up fielding a rider next season. Would be WAY cool to have THREE dealer teams out at Willow! |
