Who's got a 600? Oh, did you mean Jessica? Yeah, you two can battle it out in the novice group. |

Oh that's right! All your bikes look the same: ie:600,750,1000. Sorry bout that! Then I suppose if I pass you, then it must be the pipes and the power commander then huh? What bike has won the most MotoGP races again? It sure wasn't your Suzuki. Smokescreen |

Your bike was in a MotoGP race?? Not MINE, but you know, that Casey Stoner guy, I think he kicked everyone's ass with a bike with the same name on the tank. It's ok Dirty, I would be mad too if my japanese cookie cutter motogp wannabe bike was parked in a paddock next to a lipstick red, fire breathing, italian superbike too! Maybe you and the other umpteen billion other Gixter owners can all talk about which color paint makes your bikes faster, or which zero gravity screen helped you pick-up chicks. Or better yet, how a lap timer makes you a track expert too! See you next Tuesday. And don't forget your A-game, your gonna need those extra two cylinders! (And actually, I know where Bostrom's GP bike is sitting right now.) Smokescreen (Message edited by Smokescreen on April 15, 2008) |

Ouch!!!!! Sanchez, That really hurt, felt that all the way to my house and I'm an EXPERT racer...should be Novice! ... But really, Int. group has lots of fast people in that group, H_ll I still run Int. group most of the time on track days unless its a slow group. Int' group usually rocks....lots of fast folks. Nothing to prove, its a track day. If ya really want to see how ya 'Check-up' with someone......RACE WERA! Its not a track day! I'm really slow compared to the fast guys. I'm just honor'd to be able to share the track these guys and GIRLS and even young 12 year old kids that are being groom'd for racing. Its an truly an honor, I'm just a gimp legged fat man, trying to live a piece of my dream With all that said, I'll be in the A' group working on my laps with a fellow racer for just a few sessions and to try new gearing, hope that helps. Then I'll bump down after lunch. Its a track day, LETS HAVE SOME FUN! BTW, Ya gotta start some where, everyone has to get their cherry pop'd. I remember my first time......and the track too. I'm on a roll today..........here we go! O.K now I'm being serious now...Ya'll back off the F@*&%* Duc! Ya'll can screw with Phil as much as you want too, I might even join in. O.K....Its my turn!!!!!! Phil, I'm bring Shelley and she's going to run your AZZ down with the Hawk GT in the Novice class, in front of everyone! Just play'n Phil.....Shelley ain't coming with the Hawk, I just had to get my dig in on ya. Feel free to give me the Phil, We're the only Duc guys in our crew, we gotta stick together. Besides your a former MARINE! I want you on my side SO BACK OFF YA"LL BTW Phil, I know your fast, so have fun, get your cherry pop'd, get some seat time and then "SMOKE'EM later (Message edited by shred on April 15, 2008) |

BTW, Theirs no racing....its a track day. If ya want to race, join WERA. Sanchez, You don't have to beat him, just let him pass ya in the "Nugget eating corner" it will do the rest. T2 at Barber got me I guess we can call that the 'Shred eating corner' Sanchez, I'll pay Jessica 20 bucks to stuff Phil in a corner. Just playing again...I'd never do that to anyone. Had it done to me, its not fun. I will pay Jessica 50 bucks if she can lap Phil on the 600.... Just Play'n Phil! Just have'n some more fun with ya PHIL...You brought it on yourself.... Btw, I'm am pissed! I didn't know a lap timer would make me a track EXPERT If I did...I would have bought one sooner. But then again, I had already podium'd three times when I bought mine I better throw my championship plate away too. On another note, I really shouldn't be an Expert racer either. I'm a smarter racer rather than a fast racer. I learn'd a few things, you gotta finish a race....before you WIN...a race! 1st place @ Roebling 2nd place @ Road Atlanta, first time at the track BTW 3rd palce at Roebling 3rd @ Jennings 3rd @ Barber and a......# 1 Plate with WERA/AMA co-santioned in Nationals in the LWTSS = Lightweight Twins Super Stock and a 3rd place over all points in Formula 2. You gotta show up on race before anything else happens. With that said....I'm always learning and improving! It was my first year racing, I would have been happy with just finishing a season until I got on the 'BOX' one time. |

Thanks for being a good sport Phil...I'm sure you'll be whoop'n up on some folks. YOU GOT SKILL! It's going to be a sweet track day and the coolest thing will be the company. 3%ers rock! Dave, GLITCHCO....Would look good on the Duc in Black and white |

Sanchez, You don't have to beat him, just let him pass ya in the "Nugget eating corner" it will do the rest. I pass two "Nugget eating corners" every time I ride in Suches. Haven't jumped either of those two yet, I think I might be ok. Maybe if I wreck mine I can be an expert too! Good fun ya'll! Smokescreen} |

> And don't forget your A-game, your gonna need those extra two cylinders! Twice as many cylinders means twice as fast, right?? It's all good, Phil. You know I'm just yanking your chain. The same rules apply to a track day as to the mountains. Leave your ego at the gate, and ride your own ride, and you'll have a fun time. If you go out trying to prove something, you'll crash on the first session of the day ... or so I've heard. |

Anybody know if you can wear a modular helmet at Barber, or does it have to be a regular full face? |

You trust that helmet. I do believe it is Full Face only. I will check on the STT website later today. |

From STT. Rider Gear Requirements (No, shorts and flip flops won't cut it....) 1) Damage free BSI, DOT or SNELL full-face helmet with face shield. 2) Riding boots that fully cover the ankle. 3) Gauntlet style gloves with full wrist coverage. 4) One or two piece leathers. Two piece leather suits must zip together for Novice, Intermediate or Advanced groups. Ballistic nylon suits such as Joe Rocket, AeroStitch etc. are acceptable in the Novice and Intermediate Group only provided they are either one piece or two piece that zip together with 50% zipper contact, reinforced and padded shoulders, elbows, hips, and knee areas. No chaps. |

Intermediate group, PLEAE READ. Intermediate Group: This group is for people with enough track time that they are comfortable at an accelerated riding pace up to the beginning racer. Riders in this group will probably want to focus heavily on body position, setting up for turns, the racing line, and advanced throttle/braking control. Instructors will be available upon request whenever possible. Safe passing is permitted anywhere with a 6-foot minimum safety cushion. The track tempo is intermediate to fast. No licensed racers permitted in this group unless cleared by Sportbike Track Time Staff. Riders in this group MUST wear a back protector. |
