Well, Mom, my homework is almost done, at least until you send me more parts. Can I play now? I'll put the pistons and jugs on tomorrow ... I had'em on for a brief time this morning for clearance checking ... Everything is fine. Best of everything in this motor. S&S cases/crankpin/pinion, Carillo rods, Axtell cyls, STD heads prepped by Wes Brown, Baker 6 speed, etc etc. |

Them jugs are huge! I like the new XB variant. Cool...but it lacks something in relation to the steel framers. Those frames looked like works of art. This one is almost better off covered. |

Just wondering if there were any fellow hooligans in the Davenport, IA or Quad Cities area. Got here yesterday for a 3 month co-op position at the John Deere plant. If you want to ride, give me a yell at awprior@hotmail.com. I'm on the blue Cyclone that is loud as all hell. Alex |

Scot, I asked them for a similar map, and they said to use the closest one you can find i.e. Vance and Hines muffler etc. Now that's customer service! |

Well I'll have a map done at a dyno center for this setup hopefully sometime soon. When it's done I'll send it to ya if you'd like.I'm surprised there aren't a bunch of maps floating around from people who have had custom maps done. |

How good was that second WSB race. I don't even mind Troy coming second to Edwards if the racing is that close and good to watch, can you say best race of the season. Paulin Oz |

Awprior, I am in moline and ride most days. Work has been nuts lately so I am not riding but onece every couple of weeks, hopefully the changes I made this weekend will clear up the remaining problems. I do ride a bmw 1100s now that my S2 is being converted into a salt flat racer. Next weekend we are hoping to have the final motor configuration complete and ready for testing, so I won't be riding much. There are a few guys you can get in touch with thru Joe at the harley shop in Davenport. Roads are nice up along the river north of hear and the roads north and west of Dubuqe Iowa are great. Paul |

Dana, I like those changes, but in addition I would add a 1350cc motor, dual perimeter brakes, and a Givi wind screen. Then we would be talking Hooligan Cafe Racer. And I would like the Blue Streak color, silver hot jet coated pipes with polished frame and swingarm too. Jim X-2.5 |

Scot, Thanks, but I don't have the Trapp anymore. I sent them my broken one four months ago, and have yet to see the replacement. I bought the D&D, and have disconnected (still on the bike though) the powercommander. |

Two questions: 1) Does anybody know the size/thread for the front and rear axles? I have drilled both (I know its not necessary) for cotterpins and need to purchase castellated nuts. 2) Has anybody drilled and tapped the swingarm for stand buttons? I'm tired of my swingarm stand scratching stuff! Naturally they come out with dual headlights on the new Lightning just as I'm finishing my custom billet mounts! Tim |

We aren't safe even at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon. I ride this road at least twice a day. Motorcyclist struck, killed by suspected drunk driver. A 30-year-old woman died Sunday afternoon in northern Vanderburgh County when a driver who was allegedly drunk struck her motorcycle head-on. Investigators said the driver of the car had a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit. Trisha Perdue, 30, of 808 Big Sky Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 3 p.m. crash on St. Joseph Avenue, just south of Meier Road. Vanderburgh County Sheriff's investigators said a southbound car driven by Larry Anderson, 21, of 3030 Orchard Road, crossed the center line near the crest of a hill and slammed into Perdue's northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Witnesses told investigators Anderson's out-of-control Chevrolet Cavalier slid sideways in the roadway and Perdue's motorcycle struck the passenger-side door. Perdue and the motorcycle were thrown over the top of Anderson's car. Sheriff's Lt. Dave Wedding said it appeared neither Perdue nor Anderson had the opportunity to slow down before impact. The speed limit is 45 mph. "At this point, we don't know exactly why (Anderson) lost control of his car, whether it dropped off the side of the roadway and he was trying to get it back (under control), or exactly what happened," Wedding said. Anderson, who was pinned in the wreckage of his car, was freed by McCutchanville Fire Department rescuers and taken to Deaconess Hospital. Investigators said Anderson's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. A spokeswoman at Deaconess Hospital said Sunday night Anderson was in surgery. Anderson's blood-alcohol level was 0.24, the Sheriff's Department said. Under state law, a driver is presumed to be intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08. Perdue was the daughter of Daniel J. Perdue, owner of Universal Salvage, an auto salvage company in Evansville. Perdue was riding her motorcycle alongside her boyfriend when the crash occurred, Wedding said. The name of her companion, whose motorcycle was not involved in the wreck, was not immediately available. Investigators said Perdue was not wearing a helmet, but that headgear would not have prevented her death. Anderson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Sheriff's Department. The accident is still under investigation, though Sheriff's Department investigators are preparing a case file on the accident to submit to the prosecutor's office, which is expected to file charges against Anderson. Investigators checking Anderson's record learned that he was arrested in February for driving under the influence of alcohol, Wedding said. Be Safe. Neil S. |

Laguna Seca: Awesome. I feel for those of you that don't live in Cali. New York was a blast, capped off by a day in the Pennsylvania countryside on a borrowed Mille with the infamous Cecil. On a sad note, I came about 5 minutes from hooking up with Henrick! Dman the timing; I'll catch you next year. And finally, I got a look at Ground Zero. I'm trying to look for the good...The empire state building looks more majestic now. Hard to describe the scene... Vik |

Does the gentleman who built these bikes still post on this board? I'm about to try to replicate that solo seat for my S2, and I'd like to ask him for some tips on how to build it. Thanks r-t |

To all interested parties, the SuperTrapp off my X1 is for sale. This is the new improved most recent version and is almost new. I have 21 disks to go along with it and it does work quite well with the race ecm. I took it off cause I'm tired of riding with earplugs. The price is 150.00 and I pay the shipping. E-MAIL me if your interested at cdstarr@earthlink.net Duane '99X1 |

And I almost forgot, I'll throw in the repack that I bought for the old supertrapp that I never used. It's worth 45.00 by itself. Such a deal, too bad I can't sell the thing for enough to pay for a rc51. Oh Well! Duane '99X1 |
