Guys I'm getting a bit closer to deciding what bike I'm looking for but now I'm concerned about fit. In the past I've been riding smaller bikes...Hawk-GT and Suzuki SV650. I'm 5'5 with a 29" inseam and touching the ground is always a challenge. So, narrow gas tanks and a short reach to the bars are always helpful. So..any suggestion as to which bike's ergos would be more favorable for a shorter guy? Or is there another model I should be considering? (falling in love with the S2s though) Thanks much. |

maybe you can get a side car and a chofer (sp?) jk... i think that an M2 LOW model is up your alley. and the pre 1999 model is narrow compared to the newer ones. if you happen to settle on a wider m2 it is cheap to make it a low with parts found on this sites classified section good luck |

Buy whatever model you like best. If you buy an X-1 or an S-3 it would be easy to trade the USD forks and longer shock for M2Low parts. That way you can have any model you would prefer and have it low too. (I am 6'7" and have a M2Low with 2,000 miles on it. I would trade my low suspension for either X-1 or S-3 parts in a heartbeat.)
