Hey, Did anyone else get the new Fuell magazine? In addition to 2 articles involving Blasts, there is one about our very own Lafeyette (aka Buellistic) putting 100k miles on his big Buell. Congratulations on the article and long miles. Now the race is on for the first 100k mile Blast. Paul |

My Girlfriend stole it. She is thinking of becoming a Buell Blast owner. I told her to take the riders edge, and stop stealing my Fuell. |

I got one last year. I got one right after I bought my Blast in 2001. How do I get more? |

Go to the Buell Website and set up an account. The latest copy is great, two articles with cool Blastards. Some good history and news too. |

Ed, In addition to Lafeyette, there is the land speed record blasts of the JDees team and the red Blastard custom by Mark Triebold. Maggie, I am only 45000 behind you. With my 50 foot commute the vehicles are getting less miles these days. Hopefully mine is all sorted out and will get more miles this summer if it EVER warms up. Paul |

I know jprovo is also at least at 45000. Thats where he was last year when we swapped frames. |

Erik - have you heard from jprovo in recent times? I know he's got tons of miles but I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to reach him. Is he still riding that same bike? Not to put a target on my tailbag, but I would love to get to that century mark on my little single. My trip from Florida to Texas this summer should be a great test of the bike and add some miles to her. Still holding my breath and praying to the motor Gods that I can prevail! |

There are seveal tuber folks with s3s and s2s over 100K. If they can make it, the Blast's motor should be good for 100,000 easy. |

Just what Lafeyette said before he blew his up, and now it makes the mag and is not even a runner - how ironic. EZ (Message edited by ezblast on April 10, 2008) |

Maggie, I talked to Jprovo yesterday! He is the one who races my Blast at Willow Springs, so you know he's not kind to his Blast. Its got 48,000 miles, but he says its tired (he does ride it hard). I got 80k out of my 'ironhead' Sportster ('shovelhead', non-evo,1984),so I dont really consider 100k from an 'evo' Buell that big a deal. It just means its ridden and taken care of! My opinion is the Blast should last a long time unless abused. |
