Mine's about half way down on this page with the amber wheels. LINK to Pics Love this bike. The suspension is just great. Very adjustable. I just can't stay off of it. |

Cutty, It's a stock Kick Ash Air Box cover with the logo's peeled off and applied to the inner cover. Pretty stealthy and tough to photograph. >> where did you get the tank pads Are you referring to the City Cross X that comes with the cover?

Hi Two Buells I plan on getting the kick ash and just was curios if the x cross is stuck on and can come off if I wanted to, I am thinking of a tank bag like the other bags I got and mounts to a gas cap ring and is held in place by it and I think that would connect to the x cross, I would think it is just glued on but not sure and is why I asked. >> How did you stick those letters on without making a mess? More like, how did I un-stick the letters without making a mess. Fresh stickers come off easier and have enough stick'um to reapply to the inner cover. Just a little masking tape to line things up is all I used to eyeball it going back on. >> Turnagain can the X cross come off? I'd imagine it'd come off without too much fuss, though I'm hanging onto it 'til I find a good tank bag and who knows, maybe a good tank dog to ride in it. HA!

have enough stick'um to reapply to the inner cover but the stick'um stuff is on the wrong side of the letter still a stellar idea (Message edited by Two_Buells on April 12, 2008) (Message edited by Two_Buells on April 12, 2008) |

I think t bags makes a dog carrier and goes on the rear of the bike. I am not sure if a tank bag will fit my plans but I do miss having one. Mike |

Mike Y., confused? the letters are stuck to the inner cover and not the underside of the Kisk Ash cover. Don't know about Frederick, but try to plan to come to Summit Point, Memorial day weekend (skip Rollin' Thunder). And as for dogs..., manly dogs, (), they belong in a dog house;
or in a sidecar;
Edit: corrected spelling of Frederick, as not to offend our Maryland friends. (Message edited by turnagain on April 13, 2008) |

"confused? the letters are stuck to the inner cover and not the underside of the Kisk Ash cover" my bad I went to one Rolling Thunder, I don't do many Harley type rides. I forgot the "e", I saw that and was too lazy to edit it! |

Road Hound looks nice. You know, there's one advantage with a smaller dog, in that, their poop is about the size of your pinky. Yeah, Rolling Thunder is an experience, but I'd rather see some racin' and have some BBQ in the Buell tent that Frederick usually sets up. Hopefully they'll do the same this year. tx |
