Sleez, Not even a 1/4 of the top bands have even signed yet. The 4th is the biggest night so the that day of bands headlining will be announced last. Count on knowing all of them in May. |

Guys are you sure??? I've attended Homecoming for several years and never needed to purchase the tickets for entry into the factory tour. Many people show up and just do the tour no questions asked. Tickets are for the t-shirts, Summerfest, Road America and VIP parking there. I'd double check your results! |

Let me see if I can't prompt the good folks at Buell to be a bit more forthcoming with some information. I'm getting e-mails from Europe and Australia . . . to the tune of "is it still on?". . ."where do we go?". The idea is to keep future products, not future events, secret. |

Sleez, I did find out today though that the Stone Temple Pilots are one of the bands slotted to play the 4th. Found that out today from my Miller Beer Rep. at the bar. |

I stretegically planned my summer Euro vacation to leave the Tuesday the 8th, and asked for the weekend before off (Homecoming weekend)... to prepare... for the trip... hehehe. Just talked to the bosses about it, and as it stands now, I've got about a 50/50 chance whether I'll have saturday off or not. If so, you better believe I'll be rolling out of my driveway at about 5 in the morning to at least enjoy a bit of the festivities. |

Yeah, I planned for this as well.... By just taking the entire month of July off It does help to have 4+ weeks of vacation a year |

I'm taking something like 4 weeks of vacation this year... although I'm only getting paid for 2. There's advantages to living with the parents. |

Does anyone know where I can get a 25th Anniversary Patch? My local dealer does not have them nor do they know anything about them. I saw a couple at MBV but guess I missed out. I have seen them on ebay and assume people are getting them from dealer shows but wonder how or if the average Buell enthusiast could get one? I plan on attending Homecoming but would like to have one before then. Thanks for any help. Frank |

I hate to be a budd-in-ski, but I'd like to add one to my jacket as well UlyWife...possible? Here's the email that Buell sent me. "Hi John, Unfortunately the activities at East Troy this day are exclusively part of the 25th Anniversary ticket package only and we will be checking wristbands that day. Activities for July 3 at East Troy include the items below, thus it will be required to have purchased a ticket package to participate in the activities this day. Two separate technical seminars Lunch A vintage bike display Erik Buell onsite and signing autographs Factory Tours Further, if a ticket package is purchased the registrant will also get a 25th Anniversary T-Shirt and patch, Commemorative event guide, a ticket into Summerfest for July 4 and a weekend pass to the races at Road America. (Overall, it’s a pretty good deal for $55!). Below is general information about Factory Tours: Tours can be set up by calling Buell Motorcycle Company at 262-642-2020. Tours are available from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday - Friday except holidays or special events. Groups of 10 people or more require a 24 hour notice. Due to safety, children ages 12 and under are not allowed on tours while the assembly line is in operation. Thanks, Jill" |

SO what it sounds like is you can't even go to the Factory without the tickets. To be honest with you, the factory tour, if you haven't done it, is ok.....once..I just got the new Fuell magazine and it says under the July 3rd headline: "Noon-4PM Factory Tours, Vintage Bike Display, 25th Anniversary Apparel available FOR PURCHASE." I thought that was included in the $55? And the Vintage bike are out in the parking lot. I don't want to sound like a cheap skate, but it boils down to this... I've been to the Factory Tours, I have Erik's autograph, the seminars don't really interest me, I won't be going to Summerfest because I'll be at Road America racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday which means the admission to the track I don't need because I'll already be there! I'd like to head to the Host Hotel to just hang out and ride to the Factory and hang out in the lot and talk to people. But from John's post above, it doesn't sound like that is an option. Pretty ignorant on Buells (H-D's) part to alienate owners like that. Guess I'll just see some of you at the track. Wonder if they'll be smart enough to try and get the Buell area at the track sectioned off for Buell racers so we can all be in the same area? I doubt it. Oh well. Guess no Homecoming for me again this year. |

Wait a minute. The way I understand it is that for $55.00 I get: A T-shirt and a patch The Factory tour (which includes a lunch, seminars and a vintage bike display and the opportunity to purchase more 25th Anniversary apparel) A Ticket to Summerfest on July 4 A weekend pass to the races at Road America I think Buell is losing a bundle with every ticket they sell. I bet the lunch at the Factory costs almost as much as they're asking for a Ticket alone. And if they're still using American Apparel for their T-shirts, that will use up the remainder of the ticket price. And we still get Summerfest, Road America and a patch. I wonder how much those would cost if we had to purchase them at the regular price? I understand that you're disappointed, but I also can understand why Buell is going to be looking for wristbands. |

the price isn't the point. I don't expect any of that stuff if I don't purchase the package. But I also thing it's dumb not to let people come to the parking lot of the factory to just talk with other fellow Buellers. I wouldn't try to sneak into the factory, or get a free lunch. I don't need to buy the package to get into the "Courtesy Area" at the track because I race a Buell and they let us in for the autograph session. My point is some people just may steer clear of the whole event if they have to pay $55 to hang out in a parking lot. I know, at this point in time, I'm not going to make it. |

I am hoping they have some higher end 25th anniversary gear available for sale. Tee shirts are great but some other stuff for purchase would be great too. |

I suspect you only need the wrist band to get into the building and to get lunch. The parking lot will be side open. After all there is not a fence around it, you could park on the public street and walk onto the property along about 300 feet of frontage. I rather doubt they are gonna string fence just to keep folks out of the lot. Could be wrong and I suspect it not completely set up yet. They always seem to be behind on this stuff, something about being busy building bikes seems to get in the way. |

I've been ticketless before and just stayed out of the building and away from the grub. I heard something and haven't verified it and haven't heard or read it mentioned publically so I can't talk about it, but it should be interesting. |

You obviously weren't there for the lunch last year. That would be correct. I was already at the track. But the previous years that's what we had. I'm not trying to get into a pissing match with you. Is Homecoming worth the $55? Without a doubt it is. I'm only trying to say that the planners seem to be a little near sighted. |
