Hope you all had a great meeting last night. Sorry I couldn't be there.
What I have for you is a small club discount for the hotel we'll be using for the June 10 Road America track day. Its our usual place, the AmericInn in Plymouth, WI.

Finally, through all the repairs my Cyclone is finally back in the garage. After fixing an apparent electrical short in the turn signals I took it out for a little rip around town and it was great! Hope it was a sign of good rides with the club to come. Later |

Hey All,
I've been really busy at my new job so unfortunately I haven't been able to make the last few meetings and probably won't be able to make any until after June's at the earliest. However I was wondering what weekend club rides are coming up that I can possibly join in on; I'm really counting on racking up some miles on the Cyclone this season and I'm anxious to get out there.
Also I'm planning a ride up the Milwaukee Mile on July 19th for an MLMT(Major League of Monster Trucks) event. It's REAL monster truck racing, real qual times, real racing times in a 16 truck field. Visit www.mlmt.com for info (they're website seems to be suffering some technical difficulties but the information is on there. Right now it is just my dad and I for the ride; which I put leave the 19th (SAT morn.) and possibly return late that night or stay over the night and head back.
Also might plan another ride to the 4-Wheel Off Road Jamboree at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield (the weekend June 28th-29th) for one of the largest displays of anything off road including show and shine trucks, rock crawling comp, Mud Drags and Monster Truck Thunder Drags.
Someone please e-mail me on the planned club rides.

Fellow WCC'rs!
Monthly meeting at IL H/D Thursday May 1st@7PM. Topics will be last details on Slimy Crud run, more Homecoming info, Track Day dates, Speedy's racer report, Sam's Dealer news and of course more time to bench race with the greatest bunch of Buellers the city has!

All,
Hope the meeting goes well, I'll get caught up with details from my dad on what was said. I don't think I'll be able to do Slimey Crud; last year I found the roads to be really tricky for the amount of riding that I've put on this year which is hardly any. I should be out on the bike this weekend though weather permitting blasting away at the roads around town. I am looking forward to other club rides that will be coming up.

50% WEATHER. it's supposed to be 39ยบ when i would have to leave the house. brrr.
50% WORK. sadly, i'm behind on several projects right now. time to catch up. arrgh.

New to the area but not new to Buell or the BadWeb. I need to have those 2 recalls performed on my Ulysses. Servicing dealership suggestions? I'm closest to Libertyville but the last time I was there I wasn't overly impressed. I'd like to keep business going to a deserving dealership. McHenry? Woodstock? Other?
Up from AL. Good to have a choice when it comes to dealerships.

All,
Had a problem with my bike over the weekend, I believe it was the clutch starting to slip. I wanted to know on an 98 M2 Cyclone with 15,000 mi is it even possible to have worn out the clutch in that amount of time? I was riding when all of a sudden I lost speed and the RPM's climbed, I pulled over to the side of the road where I repeatedly tried to get the bike to engage in 1st gear; the bike would only partially engage the same thing engine racing but the bike would only creep along. While thinking of what to do next I put the bike in Neutral and gave it one last try in order to hopefully ride the bike home. Same thing except this time the 1st finally fully engaged and the bike rode normally. Normally all the way home, shifted correctly and everything...can someone tell me what could possibly be going on? I just had the 15,000 mi service done to it and everything clutch wise came up OK. I'll be at the meeting on Thursday now that I'm back on days, probably driving instead of riding for obvious reasons. Later. |

Who do you guess use to work on our bike? I bought a 02 M2 and changed the exhaust. I want to change the intake too, but pretty sure I would need it rejetted then. Looking for a person or place to jet it for me. |

That was totally cool! Excellent presentation.
As mentioned in the meeting I've finally picked up a drivers seat for Damage Inc. Team 8 of the Tournament of Destruction team demo series at Route 66 Raceway.
The schedule is as follows; June 28th, July 26th, August 16th, and September 20th start time is 7:15pm.
Upfront motorcycle parking available. All races are being covered by SPEED Channel for their Lucas Oil On the Edge! program and will aire sometime in the fall or winter as I'm told. More info please see www.teamdemos.com

M2epyonpilot- No follow up to the drive prob? If it was immediate, I'd suspect a shift pawl detent plate (I think thats what it's called)
Kickboxin- if you do a lil research in the Knowledge Vault, I'm sure there correct jet for your setup is discussed a dozen times. You might be able to handle rejetting yourself or let even an independent shop know what jet you want in it.
Libertyvile, McHenry, Woodstock ... all would have to order my recall pieces for my Uly so I went with McHenry. That was 3 weeks ago and still haven't got a call. Time to pursue them.
