I have an 06 Uly with a Special Ops on it. It has dual outputs on it. The other ones I've seen have one output. What is the difference? Is the single output one quieter? I just put mine on and It's a little loud for me. It sounds good while going through the gears, but at speed it is really annoying to me. I may have to part with it. Thanks, AR |

You sure? I thought all Special Ops have dual outlets. Drummers generally have single outlets. |

I think his site lists the singles as 900cc mufflers. Either that, or they were special request builds... |

That must be it. I saw the photo on American Sport Bike's website while looking at the muffler comparison. |

The 9's have single outlet and the 12's have duel outlets with the internal valve still in place |

probably the wrong place, but i've been searching the vaults without much luck. has anyone tried running a special ops / open airbox / k&n filter with a stock 07 ECM? my remapped 06 ecm just died. i know the 07's were set up a little richer, and i was just wondering if i could use a stock 07 ecm without running too lean. if it's too lean i'm either going to have al remap an 06 ecm for me or try messing with this ecmspy thing (have access to a dyno). |
