G'day all
does anyone have any stats for the D&D pipe? do K&N have an air cleaner element for the 1125R?
the D&D sounds good on their web site, need noise to scare the Wallabies & Roo off of a night (i do a lot of night miles)but i dont want to sacrifice any performance.
any comments would be helpful

K&N does not have an air or oil filter yet. I heard they are working on the airfilter part.

I was looking for a thread on D&D where I was pretty sure they showed a dyno chart. But can't find it right now.

There's this thread on D&D though: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/345652.html?1206501049
And this one:

I just picked up the d&d pipe at my local dealership. and i must say that i think its the loudest pipe if ever heard on a bike lol. it sounds pretty good but wow, its way louder the say, the buell race pipe or the jardine cans for xb's. its sounds good though. it doesnt backfire at all and seems to run fairly decent. i havent got to dyno it yet though since i just got it yesterday.

Well this pipe wont get the time to wear in. Im gonna be returning this one this weekend. There was a small dent by one of the flanges and the pipe that goes to the front cylinder leaks around 75% of where the 2 pipes clamp together. Though I think that theres the small chance that the flanges or whatever were cut to deep/wide and its not sealing because of that.

I really just hope my dealership wont be up tight about it since Its now "used". Non functional is non functional in my eyes.

Hello all I am new here. Just wanted to say hey. I am currently serving in Iraq, but coming home soon...I have an 1125R waiting for me at the dealer as we speak. I am trying to figure out which exhaust would be best for sound and performance. Can anyone guide me in the right direction.
Thanks!!

G'day Cavtanker

I'm fairly new here myself, i have searched all over the place and D&D seem to be the only ones making a pipe that shows slight increases in rear wheel power and torque aparently they are hideously loud but not real expensive i've always used Vance & Hines pipes but i cant wait for them the bike sounds like a sick VW with the stock pipe but you will still be more than happy with the performance
