We've had quiet a bit of interest in  patches. I've gotten some information from Scotty_j from the NEBO group who headed up their patch order.
If you've seen the NEBO patch, it is top quality and I plan to use the same supplier as they did.
What I need from this group is a commitment to help fund this order. I need to see how many people would be interested in fronting X amount of $$ for X amount of patches. I think NEBO guys fronted $30 or so for 8 patches.
I'm thinking that we will get patches that are 4". Any thoughts?

Guys - this isn't going to be piece mill. I need a commitment for a "lot" of patches.
**If** it costs us $300 for 100 patches and we have 10 people commit, then those 10 people will pay $30 each and receive 10 patches. From there, people can purchase patches from C3 members holding patches.
I can't order these like the decals. Like the beer huggies, we'll have a minimum order to place.

I will jump in on this Kristi. I am sure I can pass them out to the guys.
I also have a patch for ya if you want one (did we send you one?). Shoot me your address and I will toss it in the mail if not..
We could almost do a big trade thread on this after. Trade patches from different groups would be cool...

I'm willing to help with the upfront money if someone else can help with the distribution/collecting end. Spending to many day's away from home this year to make that part work...sorry.

+1, Eric. A patch trading post would be cool! I know there are a LOT of NEBO guys with a LOT of patches to throw around.
Step up, C3... $30 a pop should get you 8-9 patches, maybe more as your logo is simpler than ours (no offense).
Hmm... Maybe there needs to be a BadWeatherBikers.com patch? You listening, Blake? I'd head the purchase up for ya if you could come up with the artwork... |

U4euh - that number given was just an example. I'm not sure what the exact $$ or number of patches will work out to be. |

Price Quote:
100 @ $2.25 = $225
200 @ 1.55 = $310
300 @ 1.25 = $375
This results in:
100/13 = 7 patches for $17.31
200/13 = 15 patches for $23.85
300/13 = 23 patches for $28.85
**Please add $5.00 or so to help cover shipping charges from here to your doorstep.
The 300 obviously is our best option. The question is, do people want this many patches?
I would like feedback as to the quantity we order by Tuesday (4/8) and then a commitment to send $$ by Friday (4/11) so I can order the following Monday (4/14).
They will send a scan of the "sewout" within 7-10 days. Once the order is placed, we should have patches in about 4 weeks.
OK - now you know what I know. What do you think? |

The 15 patch deal sounds good to me. I might use 4 patches to have sewn on various jackets. That will leave plenty of extras to swap with or give aways. 7 won't be enough, 23 might be too many? I'm for the 15 or 23 deal. Pat also agrees with me! Thanks Kristi, and to the investors! |

Yes, the patches will be 4 x 4. Our decals are 3 x 3...too small for a patch in my opinion and 5 x 5 seems too big. |
