Um, you missed the get together at hooters a month ago, and ya missed the ride down to Tucson a few weeks ago... AZ "bike week" is something substantial? I'm not much into the biker scene... Hmmm, I've got a Harley, and STILL hadn't planned on attending any events. I would be interested in a ride over Yarnell pass, to Prescott, or perhaps doing Hwy 260 from Prescott to Payson... It may be warm in the valley, but it's NICE up in the mountains!!! B |

Hey Warped one If you are going on the sunday TASER ride I will see you there. I also am planning of going on the Buddy Stubbs ride on April 2nd Riding For Kids. It is a great cause that I support each year. What say you Bart? Wickenburg, Kirkland, Cordes Lakes, Anthem, Westworld. |

First Card at Stubbs 13850 N Cave Creek Road. If you figure it is $35 for breakfast then the rest of the day is free cause I am sure you want to stay for the Molley Hatchet concert. Hmm, I suppose I could dust off the Hawg, and get out my "biker boy wannabe" jean vest, and assless chaps, and go out for a putt... I didn't realize Molly Hatchet was still jamming, damn, some of them old 80's bands don't know when to quit. I'll let ya know what's up later in the week. |

Got my bike running . I also have ecmspy and a cable if anyone wants to poke around with it. It's pretty neat. I've got that and Megalog viewer speaking to each other so tuning seems relatively straight forward. Did some data logs today and played around with the numbers a bit just to see how it works. Cool stuff. Now I wish I had gone with the bigger cams and valves.... |

Anyone in the East Mesa needing ECM Work, I've got mine up and running too. REAL good for TPS and AFV resets. Also if you have an area of decel popping or things like that, its not too hard to get rid of it by adding or removing fuel. |

We have Ecmspy on the Palm and PC, we have DirectLink and HD Racetuner as well.... the Plam version of Ecmspy works really well and makes data logging really easy. Xoptimize's baseline maps have worked really really well for us and we just tweak them here and there to tune to each bike... hes kinda the guy to see if you need a push in the right direction with your map. If you just got Ecmspy and don't have alot of experience remapping vehicles be very very careful... You can jack the ecm and performance of the bike up really bad with a small mistake...so have someone who knows what their doing help you do it... We need to all set up a buell event or Get Together or track night up for the East Valley... I have been trying to find a cruise night or something for buell guys and gals and haven't.... So any buellers in Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, or Phoenix who would be interested in setting something like this up lemme know |

Hello All, I have had my baby(01X1)in storage for a couple of years due to a back injury and lack of time. Well I have bike fever (bad!!) and I am in the process of getting it back on the road. I have to get my bike registered and I have to do emission. This is my first time that I have had to do emission on a bike, is it the same as a car? I have the Race ECU, slip-on and gutted air box is this ok or do I have to put it back to stock? Hopefully I can get it going and join you guys for a track day or buell event. I am also cleaning up the tail section finally, so I should have that done this weekend. Wade |

Wade, I assume you live in or around Maricopa county and fall into the emissions requirement. With the race ECM, and the gutted air box, you just may be running lean enough to pass. for extra insurance, I would change out the plugs, and insure you have a fresh tank of premium. Good luck, and welcome back! Bart |

Bart, Thanks for the info. I live in Scottsdale, the first 5 years i did not have to do emissions. Now I can't register without it. Wade |

Would anyone with an older tube framed bike happen to have a gauge pod/dash that will fit an X1? |

this is kind of off topic but where does everyone else get there oem parts. ive been using chandler harley but they have to special order everything id rather just order it myself. only buell dealer on this side of town and i feel like they look down on me when im in there trying to order parts, they dont keep anything in stock and warranty work takes months. /rant sorry but that dealer just pisses me off |

best place to order parts is from Andy with Appleton HD/Buell, they are a sponser here on the board. They will also give you a 10% badweb discount. As for warranty work, there's really no place in Phoenix worth a shit. The Stealerships are all pretty much equal in their worthlessness. Or should I say, they all suck about the same. I've NEVER liked Chandler, got screwed by them back before they ever built the new building. Hacienda is just a boutique shop, catering to the foo foo wannabe biker types, and Arrowhead, which USED to be great when Paul was the service manager, is struggling to find competent help nowadays. Tucson isn't any better, and I don't know how the shops up in Prescott or Flag are... So, it's either take your chances for your warranty work, or just blow it off and do it all yourself... |

I have the dash, and a Speedo, which actually came from an M2, but it is the same as the X1. I don't have the tach. I can pull them out in the next day or two, but I will be gone from Wednesday through Monday. If he is cool with that, we can work something out Don. |

Darkmiller. Try Arrowhead, and ask for Andrew in service only deal with him though. He always got the ball rolling on my warranty work. FWIW I live in Queen Creek and still would take my bike all the way out there knowing it was under his supervision. |

Does anyone know where to get a gel battery for my S2 at a reasonable price? I'd go with a regular batt but I've heard alot about the gels. Or if anyone knows where to get a good batt at a good price let me know. I need to get my S2 going again! Its been sitting for a long time! |

Hi guys. Gotta question on the Quick Board you might be able to help me with. My mom wants to take a Riders Ed course in AZ |

Chainsaw, I would recommend either of the first two classes on the list you posted on the other thread. The MSF courses are very will thought out, and geared to the motorcyclist that wants to learn. The riders edge, while covering the same bases, is geared towards you purchasing a Harley. Good luck!!! Bart |

96S1, Not sure where to get a battery, I just got one for my city-X back in December off the internet, and it's already got a dead cell. I have a spare battery that may fit, if you want you can borrow it until you get one... Bart |

Rant mode on Just got an email at 4:00am today from ChandlerHD re:Buell Demo fleet being at their shop on April 12th and 13th. Wow! What a great marketing plan to send the invites out after the show has come and gone. I sure hope the turn out was huge. Any wonder why Buells are so hard to sell? Rant off back to sleep mode. |
