A: Yes, absolutely, positively. Just be sure you have the key handy, and that you've practiced using it in just this situation. (Hint: have a piece of small line attached to said key and around a finger for you will certainly drop said key while playing the magician. |

Hey Court: Is that really your leg????? And how did the F-Bolt turn out???? And there goes another summer down the drain. Later C.C. Neil S. |

Neil, Think not: Something does not match. It`s Grizzly who signs with FFF. The Femur is the bone in the upper leg. The bandage seems me to point to Fibula damage on the lower leg, sure not the Femur. The Fibula is the smaller bone of the two in the lower leg. Need not to be operated as the big tibia is keeping the leg in shape. Then there was the "boring story" about an U-turn, loose grid, mentioned by Grizz. Somehow Court did report the mishap and exaggerated the situation, as usual, till First Firebolt Femur. Well, Grizzly all the best and fastest possible healing. Or am I wrong again (not unusual) ? Hans. |

Hans, Dead on. " "U"turn was a boring story about my shortlived reentre on a Firebolt, no fun at all (PPIA thinks otherwise, but he isnt to bright). Actualy it is the Achilles tendon. With the heelbone it was damaged. They had to operate on it put it back together and plaster the leg for 4 weeks. Hmmm possible it will be hard to ride, but I'll try next week if the weather holds. Lucky that its not the shift side. ciao Grizzly (FFF) |

Grizzly: "will be hard to ride, but I'll try next week if the weather holds" Mmm. Distance of the tendon Achillei to the center of the joint about 7 cm. Distance center of joint-forefooth: About 14 cm. Standing still on forefooth gives already a traction on the tendon of 2 x body weight. Lets say: 150 kg. If you step on the forefoot you may manifold that number by 2.5 till 3.25. Traction on the tendon about 400 kg. And don`t think the plaster fixes the ankle completely. Nough said. Hans. |
