I was wondering if anyone has seen or has done a streetfighter style tail to one. i have seen many streetfighter sites that have universal tail sections, but i have never seen any pics of them installed on the XB. if any one has any info or pics i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance. There is a site called beasleycomposites.com that has it made just for us buellers. They do a nice job. Have had friends use them in the past for their drag bikes. |

I'm not looking so much for the drag body work. i'm looking more or less for the company that makes this....

Why not do a Firebolt tail swap?

I was thinking about doing that swap, but having the lightning with a Acrebis headlight, the firebolt tail looks make the rear of the bike extra long. I was looking around and found this picture of the streetfighter tail on the buell. the tail is shorter and turns up giving the look of the shorter stance like the lightning already has, if that makes any sense at all.

That pic is of a stock lightning tail with a custom cowl covering a Corbin seat. |

I know that is a picture of my bike. I am just showing the smaller size of my headlight compared to the tail. here is a photoshop my friend did for me its my bike with the firebolt tail. the firebolt tail also has a honda cbr race tail over the rear to get a different look. after seeing this pic i have came to the conclusion that the firebolt tail would give the bike a longer look. it makes the bike look uneven compared to the streetfighter tail that i am talking about in the above postings. the street fighter tail looks shorter and somewhat more aggressive.

Ok, I didn't bother to check who's bike it was. I read it that you found the picture of your bike while looking around. I remember your original posts and like the look. Let me know if you decide to get rid of the seat and cowl. |

I recall seeing a website with that tail. It was G-Fighters or something,I believe it was German . They make custom fairings that look like monsters. I tried to Google, but could not find it. Good luck. DOOM |
