Micah, I don't think that Peter would care. We were just looking for some other Buell riders to join in the fun. Bye the way can you send me some of the pictures from our last little ride? That was a fun day and I looking forward to getting together again for another ride. |

Blain, You got it, I will zip them up and make them small enough for email. I am working on some Call Sign pics for Pete's website that we can use for other sites, I was even thinking of making some avitar's out of them to use on other sites as well. You still want "Hotrod", cause all of the pics I have of you, you look like "Grizzly Adams" riding a pocket bike. heheheh Anyway, I will shoot the group some more pics. Did you see the one I did of the R1 rider? |

I'd like to see the picture of R1 Ray. I'm still laughing about the cop who just waived when he went by on the rear tire at 80 miles an hour. I dropped Peter a note this morning telling him to drop in on this thread. |

Here’s a thought for yall. It seems that as with Thunderbikes of North Texas, the Mid-Cities Hooligan riders are converging from all over the area. With Buells being a small market and ours riders coming from all over the area, we decide that North Texas would be an inclusive part for our BRAG chapter name, Thunderbikes of North Texas. Now that there are no BRAG chapters what would yall think about chapters of TNT, Mid-Cities Hooligans being one with a possibility of Dallas, Fort Worth, ect? The TNT website could contain links taking members to their localized chapter. Of course we still need someone to take up the reins. Am I starting to sound pathetic? |

New topic. I have ridden with several groups, and even though I don’t care what people ride, I have enjoyed my rides with other Buell owners and the owners they seem to attract, than any other group. The clear second choice is the CMA/Fast Lane/Christ Rockets whatever their level is. Probably due to their consistent ride schedule, cast of characters and leadership of Robert. Can’t wait to get back in the saddle. |

Paul, I hear ya loud and clear! I am liking the way your thinking. I think TNT with chapters would be a good way to go. As far as riding with non buell groups, I am all for it as long as I am not the only Buell. Anyway, I will be looking over my schedule and see if I can take up a moderator role or something more with the TNT website and I will ping you back to let you know if I think I can pick up the reins to help move this along. |

Back in my high school basketball days, we used to crank up "TNT" by AC/DC in the locker room to help get ourselves psyched up. |

Micah, any help you could provide would be appreciated by me and I'm sure the other TNT and MC Hooligans members. Speadfreaks101, the crow flies at midnight. |

All, Here’s how to register for the Inside Pass on Tuesday, September 23 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, TX. Buell owners only call between 7:30 – 3:30 CT at 888-390-4020 ext. 901. Have your VIN available. See you there, if not before. (Message edited by Cowtown on February 27, 2008) |

BTW, Inside Pass is $150 this year. Still a good price for what they offer. |

Phillip, it'll be good to see Mandy and you again. This track should be an easier drive from your place. |

The "new bike" would be my pending 1125R that was "supposed" to ship to Corinth on Tuesday, but is still on the line. I'm riding Mandy's CityX until it gets here, and she's not happy with me puttin miles on HER bike! lol |

and yes, it IS an easier drive. Cresson is ~1.5 hrs from our house, and Eagle's Canyon should be ~30 mins. Between RideSmart & TexasTrackdays, I "hope" to have a cpl days on that track before Inside Pass. |

Eagle HD/Buell in Corinth. HD/Buell of Dallas in Allen. Go to the Buell site, select "Find dealer" and put in your Zip code and it will return an interactive map of the Buell dealers in relation to your entered Zip. I won't comment good or bad about either of the above 2 dealers, since the only thing I go to a dealer for is to buy a bike. I do my own maintenance. |

Rah, I will be attending the one at Allen (HD of Dallas). I got to ride everything but the 1125r while I was in Suches, GA at March Badness. If you want to make the treck over to Allen, I plan on getting there as early as possible to get one of the Buell Hydration Packs they will be giving away. |

GirlsCanTwo, There is a wiring kit you can get at Cyclegear or LibertyMoto that will put a Resistor inline and cause the blinker to operate at a slower (stock)speed. It is fairly simple to install. Micah |

FYI... I called the Buell dealership in Garland to be sure the demo ride was good to go. I asked about the Buell Hydration pack give-a-way. I was told this. "To be eligible to receive a hydration pack you must do a one on one demo ride during a week day. The hydration pack will not be available for the demo rides this weekend, only during week day demos with a salesman." I also talked to the sales manager. He has only 50 hydration packs and those WILL NOT be given away during the weekend demo rides. They are only for people who sit down with a salesman during the week and basically are for those who came to buy a bike and do a demo ride related to the potential sale of that bike. Guess who won't be attending the demo ride!!! I am not going to take a day off work for a demo ride. This is not how the factory intends the give a ways to work. And since I moved here I was hoping to find a good Buell dealership... I guess this isn't what I was hoping to find! I will be keeping my XB9S after all, because I won't buy from a dealership that is not committed to Buell 100%. Sounds like they are only focused on Buell only during the day you buy one!!! I also called the Buell dealership in Allen. They advised me they were not doing a Buell demo ride weekend event. The only event in the area is in Garland. HD dealerships will end up killing Buell. With HD sales down you would think they would want to support factory programs to convert riders over to Buell. All they see is the short term sale... not the potential of the long term product line Buell is expanding. Well, I went today and met up with Slowride and I got my hydration pack. They gave away 25 today and 25 yesterday. (first 25 to sign up for a demo ride) my buddy and his dad went as well and both got one too. It was a fun time! first one I have been to and I loved it! Well it would have been better if there had been about 100 less hogs and about 100 more buells!!! but overall, very nice. yea for some reason Allen doesnt have a demo day anytime soon! and they normally have the largest buell selection around here I have found. (which is still only 5 or 6!) Garland normally has 4 or 5. Sorry they told you wrong! On there site it says it plain as day, first 25 get a free gift. I guess they should make all there employees read that!!! but good news is Corinth will be doing it next month. maybe they will have them??? -Robert |

I got my LEDs Working. THANKS for the insight. I went to NAPA and got a NP35 relay for less then 20.00 and it works great! I went out today on some great roads, had lunch at Ponder Steak House then went and got me a Buell Hydration Pack in Corinth. I put 130 miles in today. I only complaint is..... My firebolt has major heat that exits a vent under the seat. When I got home I noticed that I actually have a burn on the back of my right thigh. ANY SUGGESTIONS to my hot seat issue??? |
