I don't know about that one, but I have the Signal Sorcerer and it works well most of the time. |

I think a magnet strapped to your boot would work. I'm too cynical to bother caring anymore. If a light doesn't detect me, I will just go. |

+1 - If it doesn't trigger, I treat it like a stop sign. |

Putting the side-stand down near the wire works every time (as long as there's a wire). |

Putting the side-stand down near the wire works every time (as long as there's a wire). I'll give that a try! There's a light by my house I have to run every time. Crossin my fingers. |

Most cities have replaced the sensor trigger with the cameras. The old style (you can tell by the grid in the ground) required a sensor trigger. The new style counts pixel changes in the cameras lens. So quite erfect;y for the uly a quick wheelie or a flash of the high beams will almost always cycle the lights. The flash of the high beam fill the pixels and the computer thinks the traffic is backing up at the light. |

High beam flashes also work very well for stoplights in the vicinity of firehouses and hospitals I have also heard that most states will accept phone calls from motorcyclists about certain lights "not reading" a motorcycle waiting for a change. I've had good luck with Maryland - there was one that I could take a nap at, but I called in to DOT, told them the problem, and a few days later (and ever since)...presto. It knows when I'm there. Don't know if it was a change to a camera, or a magnet adjustment...but it worked. (Message edited by ratbuell on March 25, 2008) |

I'd wage Treadmarks killer spot lights would throw enough IR to set off the changing of lights. (Message edited by electraglider_1997 on March 25, 2008) |

or a flash of the high beams will almost always cycle the lights In other words, if you're riding a 12R, you're f***ed. |

MCN tried one of those a couple of years ago and it did not work at all. Maybe they have improved but I doubt it. |

Where do you mount the signal sorcerer? Or any of those magnets for that matter. I'm not so sure about putting it under the muffler. I was thinking the kick stand might work. |

"I tried the kick stand trick and couldn't get it to work." Did you put it right on the line-cut? If so, that's odd. It usually works great. Might be those are old lines and the sensors have been replaced w/ a camera. |

I travel all over and most light use the inductive wire method. I have the Signal Sorcerer and it great improves my odds of tripping a light. Sometime a repave will make the wire too deep, but not that often. I don't have one yet for the new 1125R and I can really notice the difference on the same lights. Then again, It's legal in most states just to run it if it won't change after a period of time or cycles. |

Ok, I got a chance to try the kick stand trick on my light that NEVER and I mean NEVER even once has tripped for me unless a car pulls up behind me. It worked! I about fell over when the light turned green, almost scared me. Thanks for the tip!! |
