Hi guys, Thanks all for the welcome back. I have a lot on my plate right now so sometimes it may take a while for me to respond. I have some work to do on my bolt also, needs a tune up and the TPS reset. Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe and fun trip to Badness. Everyone ride safe and have lots of fun. Larry |

Looks good Spike. I hit my headers with Mother's metal polish. They shined right up in a matter of minutes. Smelled a little funny for a while on start-up. |

Spike, I'm leaving Friday morning, but ain't really planning to head to the Raleigh area. Heck, I'm not even sure how (meaning route, obviously I will be riding the XT) I'm gonna get there yet, so who knows? Lot's to do before then... 1313 |

New12r, U4euh, Twig, and everyone else interested- I took a test ride tonight in preparation for this weekend! OOOOOOH YEAHHHHHH! Hmmm, makes me wonder about mixing with kool aid.... Everytime I have some I am always remembered why it's my favorite* But I digress... Imported from the liquor store next to the Vortex, after being brought back to and from a place near the Eastern seaboard in North Carolina...

Thanks Brankin. Enjoy the green fairy at Badness. I wish I could have went, but I may be able to actually ride my bike this weekend. I don't have all the details yet, but we are working on having a Buell Demo Day on April 26th, just got to get approval for all the things we want to do along with the demos. Everyone, have a great time at Badness. I will be going to Buelltoberfest. |

This just posted: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/171 43/347180.html?1206461806 I hate to be so vague in the posting, but wanted to give plenty of time for people to plan on coming while we hammer out the details. It would be great to have a huge turn out. I also need some volunteers to help with the demo rides and to man a couple of items such as the raffle box, the possible video game shootout, and some of the displays. Any takers? |

attn: Jlnance hey jim, this is mike, Sportymark's buddy. he told me you were interested in a xb9s primary gear and chain. I just so happen to have one laying around collecting dust. Mark said that he'll probably put it on, so we could get put a small meet together to put it on maybe. I need a belt for mine, but not sure when I'll buy one. I need one badly. I'm leaving for paris france in the morning and will be gone till next thursday. We can meet up sometime after that. And maybe some the locals guys from here could meet up too. We could do it at my house if needed. I've got some of the buell specialty tools like the primary gear lock, and a huge torque wrench, but I don't have the socket. -ernie |

Seeinstars - Thanks for the note! Yes, I need the gear/chain, I'd love to buy yours, or, if you prefer, I have a used belt I'll swap you for it. I just ordered the parts, other than the gear and chain, so your timing is excellent. They should be here next week. Do you know what size socket is needed? I will have a gear lock too, I ordered it yesterday. It's an expensive little thing. |

not sure what the size of the nut is. I might could look it up in my service manual when I get back. Or if I get a chance before I leave for paris. |

it doesn't say the size of the socket in the service manual, but it has pictures and it doesn't look any bigger then a 19mm, (well I know it would be standard not metric, but around that size maybe) The belt that you have, is it the newer style? |

Seeinstars - I replaced the belt before my trip to homecoming last July. I just didn't want to go off on a multi thousand mile trip and worry about the belt. It had 22k on it when I replaced it. It was just a piece of mind thing. I also liked the idea of having a spare around. |

Does anyone have a link to the pictures from Buelltoberfest? They seem to have scrolled away, deep into the archives. |

Sportymark, Which 3" are you running on your WRX? Jim, If ya'll need any tools let me know and I'll have them with me on any Friday you may need them -- same location as last time. You folks be careful in the Glitch World of North GA. I've gotta go make some bank to keep the IRS off my butt. |
