Neil S.   No_rice Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 04:52 pm:        well its my own fault we dont have any here yet. the only 1125 we have gotten in was in january and that ones in my garage. it sat unridden until about a week ago when it dawned on me that i had yet to get any on the way. (atleast we are supposed to get another one this week sometime it sounds like. supposed to have shipped out.) i have some on the way, just not sure they will be here with enough time for me to use them before the trip. thought maybe i could grab an equivelent at the auto parts store. if not no big deal. it does only have 70 miles on it so it wont kill the thing to run the oil longer.   Blake Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 12:41 pm:        Tim, I agree that there's little need to change the oil and filter at just 70 miles, however you may change the oil and leave the filter, which interestingly is exactly per the owner's manual where the replacement intervals for oil and filter are 6,200 and 12,400 miles respectively, that after the initial 620 mile post wear-in service of course where both oil and filter should be replaced. If you need one, I'll send you my extra one. First time at 500 miles, I cleaned my old filter and re-used it. @ 620 miles it got a fresh filter. She's a very happy machine now. I'm off to Texas in the next few days, oil change before and after the trip. Z
