I use a crooked crayon and my left hand when I plan my trips on maps. Your right on my way the way I draw it out. |

SO I checked the weather for Thursday when I leave Cleveland... And well, it's supposed to be 36 with a rain/snow mix. Not really condusive to leave at 4am... even with heated gear... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........} |

Well it is hard to get an exact number. There are people posting on other threads about coming and I have some E mails about another one or two. Best guess from me right now is 20 to 24. |

Uhm, I'm a tentative yes... Michael, what is your route down from Cleveland?...I'm in Morgantown, WV and a bit apprehensive about the weather as well, always a bit wacky this time of the year. Thanks Ken |

Sekalilgai... The Columbus crew (and hopefully michael1) will be leaving columbus at 6:00 AM; taking 71 South to 75 South. We're about exactly 200 miles West of you, so it'd significantly lengthen your trip, versus just heading straight down to Maryville. But if you're up for the ride, we'd love to have you join us. Hey Mikey, I've sent Sekaligai a PM about hooking up in Lexington. That goes for anyone else too, We should be in Lexington between 9:30 and 10 on Thursday. Let me know if you want us to stop at the Man-O-War exit. The Buell dealer and a Waffle house are there and we could stop at either one.... BRIEFLY. |

Hey Mike, Mark Thanks for the invite, I'm being a big wuss and might tow the bike partway. (I know, not really qualified to be a Bad weather biker... ). Look forward to meeting yall. Ken |

I'm being a big wuss and might tow the bike partway I wouldn't worry about that, a bunch of BBB's are trailing the whole way. |

Depending on the weather on the ride down you may have a better idea. I'm still riding though! |

Michael, I saw that you're a DM... I run an autoparts store and I feel like a babysitter most of the time. I can't imagine what it's like baby sitting more than a few 'kids' |

I got some new neighbors a few weeks ago. I'll be interested to see if I get a reaction (or cops) when I start up the bike at 5:30 in the morning. |

It looks like we may have a cold & wet start for our journey south Thursday. BUT, the weather computer says it will be 70 in Knoxville! Full tank, empty bladder, kickstands up at 6am I'M READY TO RIDE!!! |

I still should be there to meet you guys at 6am. Worst case, I'm sure I'll meet you along the way somewhere. If not, I'll just see you guys at SMHD. I'm trying to plan to get to the waffle house, but with this weeks schedule, I am not so sure it'll happen. Monday - Youngstown Tuesday - Ann Arbor Michigan Wednesday - Akron/Canton Thursday - Leave... But I still have to pack at some time. Or not pack, but load up the bike... Ugh... why does work have to interfere... |

It looks like we may have a cold & wet start for our journey south Thursday. Heated gear for warmth under leather gear for protection under rain gear for dryness. Ok, I'm ready. |

Folks- at this point in time I'm estimating +- two dozen Buellers arriving at Smoky Mountain H-D/BUELL at the Shed between 10am-1pm. We will have a nice breakfast spread: sausage, bacon, cat-head biscuits, eggs, gravy, coffee, juice, milk. Plan on $6-7 for a good plate. If there's enough interest between now and Wednesday evening, I may requisition some cold cuts and bread. (Heck, I'll bring that myself for the whole trip, so come find me for a sammich if need be.) Saw some Canadians today- let the games begin!!
