We are all going about this the wrong way. Rocket you already have a Salt Flat memory but your new lady (aka Gunslinger ) does not. Think how much more you will have in common when you site around a fire with your shawl and slippers on talking about the good old days that you both had with the Elves on the salt. So you stay in the UK send your new lady in your place. I will volunter to take her under my wing and show her a good..... I mean look after her and keep that Blake character away from her, what a friends for. Remeber we are on this earth for a good time , not a long time. PaulinOz |

Blake..I forget the month issue, I'll look, if you mean pic of yourself by "What Pic"...maybe I'm mistaken but in an article about the Buell Internet email sights & about the Bad Weather sight their was a pic of this fella with glasses with a rag in his mouth & his head down near the v-notch between the cylinders of a Sportster/Buell engine. I took it by the caption, it was related to the Badweather article & was you...I certainly could be wrong about that! It's in the same issue as the Rocket pics & article above. Check is on the way to Jim Bantz for the "rocket" fund! Dale A. |

Rattler, That pic was of Jay Hawley, author/editor/assembler of the article and ATC founder. Damn, if I was that ugly, I'd avoid cameras at all cost. (Just kidding Jay) |

PPiA, i mailed JB2 a money order a week ago yesterday (7/1), you should be seeing this $$ show up on your electronic doorstep soon. i wonder if there's any way we can move the "Who's Paid and How Much" table over onto this page so it's not "lost" in the archives? FB |

I received 4 snail mail contributions which have now been PayPal'ed to PPiA. I'll let Peter post the names and amounts but I agree with FB that it would be nice to have the tally in the header of the current page. Blake? JB2 |

I'm for fluffy too! Gawd we're supposed to be bikers - on the edge, leather clad, with tattoos & well muscled torsos.....and some of the men are like that too. So if that's what people EXPECT us to wear ...what could scare the sh*t out of them more than Rocket in something frilly. The eyes of the world are on us so I say go for the shock factor.... Rocket Pepper 'King of Carbon', Whose S1 gives us such a hard-*n, Made it to the wide salt pan, But didnt dress up like a man. He wore some fluff and fancy frills And gave us all some t-shirt thrills And left the crowd all gaping wide As on a Buell he took his ride As he approached his final run We really started to have fun The lace vibrated, feathers flew As Rocket thundered past the crew And from the crowd a mighty yell Erupted as they got the smell Not nitrous nor high octane gas But Chanel, 'cos he's really class And as the roar and echo fades Dear Rocket sashays, on parade "My dears, thanks for being at my side For cheering on my record ride Without your help to get me dressed My make-up would've got all messed But I just think you all are swell And damn, that Court he's cute as hell..." .....to be continued......(or not, depending on when The Brick arrives.......) |

That's funny. I could have sworn I put a reply to FMJ in before Rocket replied, saying that he should know more in a couple of weeks, and he said he would be going on his own. Did anyone else see it, or am I going mad? PPiA |
