One cannot infer a Justice's vote by the questions they ask. We will know when we know. It is an interesting case because the second amendment has not been in court but one time previous to this. It is fun to read the questions and comments, these folks are smart. |

Sorry I don't see the supreme court getting this right, I hope I'm wrong. But we can not continue on with the league of nations with a society armed to the extent of the United Socialist States general population. Plus I don't see the liberal educated and control youth in general supporting this decision. So how much is your gun worth in the Amero Dollar anyway? Joe then leave! i own 3 guns here in florida, and about 7 more in north carolina. if it weren't for the 2nd amendment, we would probably be british or german or french. i have been to all 3, lived in 2 of them and would rather live in our "violent socialist" society. did you know in britain, if somebody breaks into your house and tries to harm or kill you. then only thing you can do is call the police or try and beat them back. if you hurt them severely or kill them you will goto jail. one of the farmers in east anglia got 10 years i think for killing 2 teens that repeatably broke into his house and beat on him. he had enough and used his shotgun. |

also known as a Castle Law or a Defense of Habitation Law) yes, but i believe in britain it goes like this. if your house isn't designated a castle then this law does not pertain to you. brits feel free to chime in if i was told wrong when i lived there. |

"I'm not sure if you are referencing the comic book or the movie, but...Virtually every home in Switzerland has a machine gun and ammo provided to them by the government. Should they be kicked out of the 'league of nations' too?" You might wish to check your facts on that one the laws over there have (from what I've been told) changed drastically and quickly. |

Also... Why should ANY nation be in the "league of nations"? So that someone can create a power structure ABOVE all nations... Do we REALLY want to travel that path? |

I've been searching Amazon.com for the new book, "Forming a Militia for Dummies". Me and my neighbors think we can get tanks etc with a big enough militia. Hoping we don't need a lawyer for this but that constitutional thing is cool. Looking to get a group purchase up on Barrett 50BMGS also. Before this hit the news I thought only the government could form a militia, glad I was wrong on that. Tongue firmly in cheek on this one boys. |

You misunderstand. Militia's ( the free people ) allow the government to exist. Not the other way around. (Message edited by aesquire on March 20, 2008) |
