I've Just aquired a set of forks of a 98 S3 (SHOWAS) to fit to my M2. Does anyone have the instructions to pull them down, so I can check them out? How hard is it? |

I have an owners manual for my 98 S1 that covers it in about 6 or 7 pages. I'll try to scan it and email to you. Or copy and snail mail it. PM me and let me know. |

If you go to change out the seals.... A hair drier will be a good friend to you. Use it to gently warm the leg up around the seal boss and it will just pop out with some pressure. Likewise it may just drop back in without a seal driver. |

service manual states 5wt and the level should be 4.33 inches from the top of the leg with the leg fully compressed. |

Mic Just wondering why not XB forks like the idea of preload external adjust. 2,000 K's that is just about the correct distance to a neighbor. I got to get down there and see that place. Joe (Message edited by bad_karma on March 21, 2008) |

Joe, I managed to get hold of a set of forks with triples, bars, controls, caliper ,master cyl, a tank, seat and tailpiece, fairing and a set of wheels with pulleys and discs of an S3. For 800$ aud. The bloke said it was off an S1, obviously he didn't know much about Buells. So for that price I'll live with S3 forks And if you ever get over here mate you've got a bed at my place. |

Joe the adjusters would hit the bars with tuber tripples.
