ORANGE CRUSH that is!... it definatly needs to be out in the sun light so the frame and the paint both come to life, but my friend and i just got done painting it and putting it back together for now. it will still get lettering on the tank and a few other touches but you get the idea. it also still has to be buffed and shined up.       | ||

WTF NO_RICE where do you find the time...2 days ago your wheeling a black one now it's orange... well if you noticed i posted the pics at 4:00 this morning, lol. thats where i found the time  Nice what kind of paint did you use? do you plan on doing any art work or paint the frame and wheels? dupont, with this weird adhesion promoter that digs into the plastic a little almost like it is going to melt it. there is almost $600 dollars worth of paint on that thing, and thats at cost! its good to have friends that will do this kind of stuff for a drink or 2. well it is atleast getting some buell logos painted on the airbox and i think my star on the fairing. that stuff i think is going to be misted on almost like over spray in the blue diamond frame and wheel color. i have a few other ides but i guess i will see how it looks after i get that stuff on there. need to black out the frame i am sure it would look really damn good that way, but i was more kind of hoping to do a modern take on the molten orange and nuclear blue from the tuber days. i know that color combo wasnt everyones favorite but man did i fall in love with that the first time i saw it on an S1. I think I peed a little!! just dont be peein yourself in the tent in a few days!!! i am not sure my air mattress will float very good... | ||

Thanks No Rice I knew it had to have some bonding agent in it to make it bond to plastic, Good paint is expensive I painted a sportster in 1984 using House Of Kolor and cost around 250 for the paint back then. Mike | ||
