I first had a problem with lack of throttle response when I picked the 1125 up from the dealer after they installed a new voltage regulator (see my thread named theft error for details and dates). The next day it was normal again, so I didn't worry too much about it. I noticed it again on another ride a few weeks later and took it by the dealership, they were crowded with people so I left. What I am talking about is I turn the hand grip and the engine does not speed up. It seems to happen when the engine temps get higher or if I run the bike hard it acts up when accelerating after the spirited riding. It happened again today, stalled when I attempted to pull off in traffic from a light. I got gas soon after that and it seemed even worse on restart, so bad that when I twist the grip the engine dies. The grip can be turned 1/4 of rotation before the engine speed increases and when it does speed up the engine sounds flat and weak compared to normal.
I cruise at about 4-5000 rpm and have never turned the engine above 9000. The bike has about 1000 miles on it. I don't get to ride it for pleasure that much, seems like I am always going to or from work on it.

I would take it in to the dealer today, but they close at 3 pm. Does this sound like a TPS problem?

I think they did away with having a tps reset,

I know on the 08 xb motor this is true,

but this is a BRP-ROTAX MOTOR and sounds like an electrical problem,

I know that when a bike has little power it will not run good and some of us have had electrical problems,

I have read and heard Buell is working on these issues,

but the only thing you can do is bring it to the dealership,

and Buell C S will tell you the same.

Check your ODIS and see if you have any codes. It sounds to me like either a TPS problem (no, there are no resets on the 08s, XL or Rotax) or possibly a loose connection.
