Just bought bike and installed the jardine pipe, buell race filter, and race ecm. Reset TPS and afv. Rode bike a few times and it has a huge flat spot around 4000-4500rpms, while riding. Also if you have it in nutraul on the stand and slowing bring the rpms up then around 4400 it starts to hang and pops a bit and cougfs. Should i down load a new map for it. I thought that the race ecm map would be fine, or close enough but its looking like i need a new map. Can i get am emailed one from someone, i don't mind paying just dont want to dyno and all that, someone must have a map that is very close.. |

There are no other maps, the race map is what ya got ..you can`t change that without other software etc. and not something you want to get into...I wd. say do another TPSs and AFV reset... |

Is it running on both cylinders up to 4000 rpm? Are both pipes hot? |

there is stuff over in the Big Bad and Dirty about adjustability for the MAP with EMCSpy. Take a look there. Treadmarks is the one leading the way over there. |

Did you allow the ecm to "re=learn"? Ride the bike on level road at about 3500 RPMs for a few miles. This will allow the ecm to adjust to the new exhaust. Also, I believe that Al at American Sportbike has done some work with remapping for the Jardine, you could ask him what he suggests. |

i had very poor performance when i first put on my jardine and it ended up being leaks where the header emptied into the L pipe.....if you used the clamp supplied with the jardine throw it out and use your stock clamp...if leaks are still present seal it up with some RTV. hope thats the problem, cause it's a simple fix. |

Check this thread out. I'm waiting to see what's what because I've had the same issue. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/341468.html?1205167181 |

I CAN HELP YOU GUYS OUT ITS IN THE FUEL MAP AS WELL AS TIMING IS OFF IN THAT AREA. YOU NEED ECMSPY AND WINOLS TO DO IT YOURSELF. OR JUST CONTACT ME DIRECTLY IN PM. I CAN DO IT FOR YOU. If for free, then COOL! If not, then this type of offer is problematic when coming from non-sponsors. Please clarify. Thanks for understanding, Blake (Message edited by Blake on March 18, 2008) |

I have ecmspy, as i did the tps reset myself, and afv at 100% I've ridden it a fe times, once on the high way to let the ecm learn....its is very cold her so maybe the coldness is to cold and it doesn't have that flexable range on the ecm. I live in MA so its 35 f now. |

Listen to Xopti, he knows what he is talking about. I have one of his maps and it makes a huge difference. 100 times better then a race map. |

This sounds pretty close to what I've been putting up with. Check this thread to find out what I'm talking about: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/341468.html?1205167181 I'm still running stock for now and thinking about running it back to the dealer to see what they say. |

Tommy, sent Xopti a PM and since Germantown is pretty close to where I'm at (well alot closer than FL) maybe I could check out your bike to see the difference. Let me know if you can help a bueller out. |
