Nice looking bike Kate. Tell me about the history of this machine, you the original owner? I have a female friend looking for a first bike and a XB9R or S of has been on the bottom of the short list. |

Hi there! I am the only owner on this bike, I bought it in 2004 - it had been on the showroom floor for almost a year by the time I bought it. I've never had any problems at all with it mechanically or otherwise, it's just been a very reliable bike. I'm 5'4" and avg frame, and I stand almost flat-footed, if not a little tippy-toed on it. It's very light and easy to maneuver for me - thanks to the low center of gravity. Before I bought this bike I was looking to replace my '94 CBR, and I looked at a bunch of other bikes, to include the new CBRs, etc. but I really liked the Buell the best. The bike was a second bike of mine, and I rode a lot up in the mountains with it, but only during the summer months (had an X1 for the dirty stuff ;o) It's been very, very pampered - you'd think it was a child! I am getting ready to apply for med school, and so I am downsizing all of my toys for now, so I don't have to worry about a whole lot while I'm in school. The bike is originally from Denver, where I live, but I moved it down to Tucson for storage so now it's at my best friend's house sitting in his garage until it sells. The bike just went up on ebay today - check it out at this LINK and let me know if you have any other questions. My husband is also selling his Triumph Thruxton if anyone's interested |

I saw a mention in the description of the original exhaust. Would you be interested in selling that separately? |
