WE NEED A NUMBER PLEASE. Mark, Jeremy, whom ever else, if you could estimate how many will be in your party to meet with us so that we may accommodate everyone for lunch at Smoky Mountain HD BUELL. If we have a big enough number, like 12 or more, they will put on a lunch for us for a nominal fee of course. But they do good food and have a great place to meet. If we don't have the numbers we will convene for lunch down the street at Shoney's. But we need the numbers soon so planning can be done. Thanks folks! | ||

Vern- I'm estimating 1 or 2 dozen passing thru- we'll take a census again next week. Ed Nabors and I think we should offer a plan B thru Tellico Plains, Reliance, and so on instead of the sameo Gap run. Quicker and funner, with only incidental po po instead of guaranteed po po thru Squids Gap. I'm off today and Tues- whatchu dooin? I may lead a guy on a 1125R test ride over Foothills tomorrow. | ||

The potential for po po involvement would be reduced on Thursday. I'd say to run it on Thursday if we can because it might be ugly for Friday and Saturday. I'm afraid that with everyone heading up on Friday that the police may be worse then. Doesn't matter to me though. Definitely want to do the Skyway, though. | ||

One of my local sheriff buddies told me that the heavy saturation at the Gap shouldn't start until April. I was out there yesterday and today- roads were near perfect, little traffic, and lucky me- NO po po either time. As the days get warmer, watch out... Vern? your kinda going by way of omaha but if you don't have anything else to do you'll enjoy the scenary. been over that way from chattanooga and it's not that bad of a ride and a few more hrs to get up to maryville and your there. my brother lives in madison. |
