How difficult is it to replace the latch that attaches the top case to the rack? The tab that is at the end of the key barrel and keeps the latch shut snapped off. I wasn't even putting any pressure on it! Do I have to drill out the rivets and then reattach? Should I just take it to my new local dealer (I just moved from Belgium to Northern Italy). TIA! |

It's two screws and the entire latch slides out. Look inside the case and you'll find the screws. |

I think he's talking about the latch that holds the case to the rack. Thesmaz, are you saying that the rotating part that turns with the key broke, or is it the clasp that torques against the rack rail when you lock it on? |

The little half moon shaped piece that is on the end of the key lock barrel for the latch that holds the case to the rack. I had a chance to take everything out of the case and noticed that it was only two screws to replace the assy and I've already contacted Andy at Appleton since that where I got the bags from. Thanks for the replies! |
