Mine was #1514 so yours might have been built in December? |

I wonder if the last 4 digits of the VIN is actually the order the bike came off the assembly line? I thought I heard from someone (maybe Spidy) that its not always the case and the numbers were somewhat random. |

Great timing! BTW we met at Home Coming a few years back. Are you attending this year? Neil, I was at the 2000 Homecoming last. You'll have to say Hi, I'll be there saying at the host hotel. btw that was the same host hotel as the 1999 Homecoming.} |

DTX, What month is that build date? The Vin label will have the build month on it. Mine is #846 and built in Jan 08. Waiting on paperwork from H-D Credit, Might not be able to pick up till Monday This really stinks 'cause the temp is 51 and sunny right now and rain the next three days

Two_Buells: Yep it was 2000, where we got to run a Battletrax on the Golf Cart paths (Who me, naw I was too busy changing mufflers and letting BMC have it's way with "Sparky" my S3T with PIAA 1100X and the HID headlight). I'm planning on Home Coming, guess I should make the reservations. Time4Home Neil S. |

I got it wrong, the HC 1999 was at the Mil Brookfield and the HC 2000 was at Lake Lawn w/ the golfers and the Battletrax was at the East Troy High School. btw, the Lake Lawn event had the best ribs I ever had! (Message edited by Two_Buells on March 06, 2008) |

Yeah Lake Lawn was fun with the imprompto excursions, late at night on the cart paths. It was also real nice to be able to park your bike on the porch, right outside your door, if you were on the ground floor. Time2Roll Neil S. |

Two Buells, I'm not sure which month #0490 was built in. I haven't seen it yet and am planning on picking it up tomorrow. Went and got insurance for it today, but will likely have to trailer it home. Cold and snowy in Oklahoma! tomorrow. I am so ready for spring. |

My #1514 was built in Feb 08. It arrived at the dealer Feb 28th so it was probably pretty fresh off the assembly line. |

Mine is waiting at the Dealer on the Tech's lift! It is #1466 . Now I can't wait. I can't pick her up until next Sunday after I sell my 12r to Rubberdown. It will be a REAL long week!!! Maybe I can talk the SO to paying her a visit this weekend, "Oh Honey, what are we doing Sunday????" Neil S. |

Well, the first night I got her I couldn't keep my hands off her! A few things before the maiden voyage: Set Up the Suspension Removed Reflectors Removed Warning Stickers Removed Belt Guards Installed Battery Tender Pig Tails Checked the Oil (it was not overfilled!) Checked Tire Pressure (was a little low) Polished the Header Pipes (they are silver now) Tried installing the lower footpegs, but tomorrow I will have to do a little filing on them to make them fit perfectly. Other then that, she is looking pretty good. My wife came out in the garage and said it was a neat looking motorcycle (maybe an approval...somewhat! ) (Just looked out the door...its snowing here again.) |

Drake, Lower foot pegs? No no no. You'll damage to much asphalt! |

I know...being tall is not an advantage when it comes to riding motorcycles. |

Blazin, They are the Buell Lightning pegs. They are 1" lower. Don't have a picture of it, but they are the regular Buell Lightning pegs. Had to file about 1/8" off of them to make them fit perfectly. |
