Did the kit come with a different bore master cylinder? What size master cylinder should be used with the dual PMs?

Assuming you mean dual front brakes, not dual-piston rear.

Thanks Jim, that would be great.

I have looked in the Vault and found lots of info regarding the brakes. Henrik's work was the most interesting and the closest I found to answering my question, but no positive answer. I would really appreciate the help when you are able.

I don't know if I will even use the left-hand PM caliper that I was able to score from a disassembler.

Also, was a "double" banjo bolt used on the master cylinder or was the brake line teed under the lower triple tree?

i'm not sure on the size, but it was a double banjo bolt used, but it can be done either way, your still moving the same amount of fluid, i personaly think the t is a better option.

Stock was 5/8",dual is 3/4".I found a double banjo bolt in Custom Chrome catalog. Remember, this is a HD master cylinder with HD part # so just need a HD dual disc banjo.
Nice score,BTW,on the l/s caliper.

Thanks Jim. I really do appreciate the help. Having a definitive answer from someone who has what you are asking about is always reassuring.

If I use it, I'll have to find a MC that fits the 7/8" bars. I won't be able to use the 1" HD part.

You can use an 18mm MC with no discernible difference in feel or function, and as added bonuses, they're easy to find for 7/8's bars and inexpensive!
