My older brother has Touretts syndrome. We used to torture him when we were kids.He has a really hard time driving a car because he can't keep his head straight. It's pretty funny to be on the outside watching.I don't take it personally,it's weird Anyway, here's my X1 back in '05 when my Xb had zero miles.THe 996 still looks kind of the same....sorta

Shawn, glad to see the shirts arrived. Got the patch, it's awesome! Trying to pick out which jacket to put it on. Was good dealing with you. Hope to meet you in Suches sooner than later. Take care!!! |

Shawn,i'm NOT offended in the least.I still wisecrack with my brother over it.Funny how over time it has manifested itself in very different ways.Enough of that. Having these bikes is strenuous on my wallet. When i need tires,i usually need them in sets of three.Maintainance is always times THREE! I like the choice, but it isn't cheap.Probably why i'm always the "anti-mod" poster.I can't afford modifications. The 996 modifications are an anomaly.IT was VERY expensive for me to modify. I'm now afraid to ride it for fear of losing my investment. What a load.I'm told once it wears in i'll ride it like i stole it |

We have to figure out driving arrangements. Who is driving and what are we taking? So far we have 6 without Greg. Chuck has an F150 crew cab and is willing to drive. I can always get my cousin's diesel but that will depend on the note below. On a side note....... I may have to meet you guys there. I have some traveling to do in the next week or so. I may have to fly from where I am to Atlanta and drive to Suches. I will need someone to drag my bike down there for me though...... I'm not sure if I'll be in Japan or California yet. I'll know more next week. |

i was planning on doing an oil change befor MBV and i was going to finally switch to SYN. any of you guys have an opinion on this good, bad, or otherwise. i was planning on going with the HD screaming eagle 20/50 and syn primary, opinions? |

My only opinion is i still maintain the primary with "Sporttrans",only now it's called "Formula+" THe only engine oil i now use is Mobil-1 15w-50. THe Harley oil is good, and THEY recommended i use it in the primary. But i won't do that |

I have been using Mobil One 20w-50 v-twin oil in both the engine and primary for about 8000 miles and 50 or so passes down the dragstrip with easy shifting and no clutch issues. |

I have been using Syn 3 in my engine & primary for ~17K miles. |
