I've recently done some fuse swapping, bought a new BUSS relay (the O'Reilly's part, the old one worked but just to be safe) and rewrapped my turner wiring because my old signal indicator flashed weakly and the turners took a few seconds to kick in full-brightness.

Now, I press the turner switch and it clicks into place but I get NO response- no indicator, no signals and (fortunately) no blown fuse.

Could I get a picture of the two ports the relay MUST be plugged into and is there a history of the actual turner switch going out on the 03's?

That's a good question. Last night, on my '03 XB9S, as I was canceling the turn indicator switch I apparently blew a fuse - big time. All gages, turn signals AND my tail light died!

ok - I have rechecked he fuses and it is the ACC fuse - replaced, checked wires under fly screen - nothing - go for ride look down - out again.

Replace fuse, re-check fly screen and wires under seat - bounce bike, and move handle bares from right to left - still working - gear up ready for another blast - as soon as i start to roll forward the dash goes out - where do i look now?

is is possible the speedo sensor is bad and taking out the whole dash - this is the can of worms...

It's a 7.5 amp fuse - 2nd from the top (next to the 2nd diode) in the right column of fusebox. It's referred to as the "accessories" fuse in the shop manual.

I think I just isolated what is causing mine to blow. The turn indicator switch seems to be touchy where the yellow turn indicator cancellation button in the middle of the switch is concerned. I took the controls off the handlebars today and moved the switch to start and stop indicators several times without blowing the fuse. Then I put the controls back on the bars and used the switch again, I "fat-fingered" the button and slightly depressed the yellow button when switching the indicators on. That blew the fuse.

So ... does anyone have any advice how to fix that switch or whether it's expensive/difficult to replace?

Has anyone heard of or had any experience with this Turn Signal autocancel and light integrator product?

Perhaps this would be a good fix/upgrade?

Follow up - the problem turned out to be a bare spot on a wire under the fly screen and a bad connector on a rear turn indicator.
