Meeting at Ed Waldens bar after the races on SATURDAY the 9th. I believe directions/address was posted in this thread. I will be coming directly from the races, as is the general consensus. For those going to the races, I will be in the infield. Feel free to call if you are at the races as well. 904.838.3636 There will be at least 2 firebolts, red and black, and a lightening scg, Cherry bomb. | ||

Does anyone have any extra room, either in their hotel/campsite, or someone who's nice enough to open up their home (obviously to be reimbursed)? Accomodations are apparently hard to come by 3 days before you leave (who knew?! haha). Right now it's just me and another buddy caging it down Friday after work. Any available lodging that anyone has a lead on would be extremely helpful; please PM me! | ||

I know you can get a fairly nice condo outside Palm Coast ~ 15-20 minutes from the strip. 140 a night. That's where we are staying. Sorry, the sleeper sofas are already claimed. Packed house. Let me know if you need more info. | ||

I did some more calling around, and found some campgrounds that are "no reservations" but claim they'll find room for a tent just about anywhere. Waiting to hear back from my buddy if he's cool with that, otherwise I'll PM you Nautique. | ||

Last minute..... I should be at the Iron Horse Saloon between 11 and noon tomm... Not sure if I will be on the blue/white Bolt or the pearl white Sporty.... Yea the Buell party at Seminole HD/B was pretty cool. All I got were a few blurry camera phone shots. My buddy went with me and when we left he said to me "dude, I wouldn't believe how many people actually ride those bikes. "Buell" It's like a cult or something. And the guy Mr. Buell was actually seemed pretty nice. Like genuinely interested, Seriously thats cool. So is this going to be an obssession like you do with you Jeep?" I think it was Clayton Sharp who said "Buell is like what harley used to be." Being like a brotherhood of common interest. | ||

I saw one Buell riding, a few Buells parked and 1-3 people wearing a Buell shirt. Cheered for Walt while he was still in the race... Then quietly left | ||

I saw quite a few Buells on the infield of DIS Saturday. I actually parked a couple spots down from a guy on a Ulysses. I was surprised to see so many people stopped to look at my Lightning while it was parked. Don't get me wrong, I am proud to say I own a Buell and love the attention, but in that environment I assumed there would be more knowledge of the brand. I was kind of bummed when the lone Buell had to drop out of the race. We were joking around before the start of the 200 and I claimed I would be happy if Walt just finished the race  . | ||

While eating lunch at Holigan's I caught a few people checking mine out. It's nice to know other people out there enjoy the Buell as well. Did anyone see the chopper run up the back of another bike Sat. in front of Froggy's? | ||
