There's only two of those that I know about: The one Buell tested at Daytona. Click HERE for the Full Daytona Tire Test article The one CMG is Racing in the Canadian Thunder Series: Check out their most excellent Diaries HERE |

Now for the trick question Steve and I "stumbled" upon this bike at the F.USA Lightning Races at Summit Point, WV. It's not a Pro Thunder Spec, or a Lightning Spec bike. Pop Quiz: What Spec is it? Where will it Race? |

Here is a picture of the first bike I have ever completely rebuilt!! My good friend shot paint on the wheels, frame, and plastic for me, and I did the rest. Let me know what y'all think. PS- do any of you run the little Joker Machine LED turn signals? If so, what do I need to do to install them? I have been told that I will need some sort of device to make them work.

That's what I'm talkin' about José. Those CMG guys are cool. Their series includes all my favorite machines, too. |

Eureka. My new Netscrape works. Above bike BTW is your Buell's grandfather. It's a 1975 Ironhead Sportster XLH which I just finished as a ground up restoration. The bobbed front fender and bars are from a 1200S. Next pix will be a detail showing the '78 ceramic coated 2>1s and OEM sharks teeth header clamps modified to fit. Then I'll quit unless you want to see some more. Fred X1 |

Jose, I just noticed that the CMG racing firebolt has a striking resemblance to a Britten. |

Detroit, how does the CMG Firebolt resemble a Britten? Down draft fuel injection, or because they're both twins? |

Finally figured out the program. The optimizer really works great. These dogs traveled with us to Road American and back. 3000 mile trip. What a people magnet! If you think having a stuffed animal on the back of your bike attracts attention, try the real thing! Kim & Cheryle |

> I just noticed that the CMG racing firebolt has a striking resemblance to a Britten. IMO the blue pipes on the X1W are a nod to Britten by EB. The bike is amazing. There's one at the Vegas Guggenheim exhibit that you can get up close and personal. |

Kim, They are fun. Spike travelled thousands of miles around Australia on a bike. We'd lane split up to lights in towns and get one of two reactions. Either they'd reach out and give him a pat, or they'd lock all the doors and windows..... PPiA |

This is me and my Guzzi, I build it myself, based on a 1970 Guzzi V7 special, it now houses a brand new 1100 sport engine...... back to the bones...I sold it two years ago, that was one of my biggest mistakes.... In 1998 it became best Guzzi of the year out 800 other guzzi's and became third on the Caféracerday in Holland That's why I will never sell my S1.. |
