Just finished up some new sliders. I wanted something different and since I've made a lot of pointy stuff on my S-1(you have to be careful bending over to check stuff out so you're not gouged on the way up) and decided to carry over to the "25r". I know that the front will probably never touch the asphalt but they complete the look.

Are those Delrin, or did you paint the aluminum? Very nice look. Zack |

Zack, rubber coated to give them a matte black look. The aluminum was too shiny for the rest of the bike and the coating was just right to tone it down. |

BTW, A friend did the carving to my design on his lathe and I coated them. So if anyone is interested in a custom set let me know and I'll hook you up with him. |

Well, that did it. I ordered the chuck I needed for my Shurline benchtop lathe. It'll hold up to 1.5" rod, so I'll be turning my bar-ends, sliders and footpegs soon. Thought about it a bit, still haven't decided whether to use Aluminum or Brass. Bar-ends first, then sliders. Pegs are going to take some more thought. Z |
