"Nope, sorry,we do not know anything about that"."There's no recall, and you're out of warrantee by over a year". We spoke about the part.He had the parts manual to visualize that i was telling him it could catch fire anytime now.I asked him if they regard the housing as a perishable part.He stated "no", only the bulb. I'm mad as H E L L !!! But now know,my only recourse is to shell out $55 for a new one (or two..or three in preparation of future failure). |

Picked up my frame from Inter-city contracting today. They did a great job on the media blasting. Stopped in to see Tripp for a bunch of stuff...thanks again for the help. Its time to replace my oil lines Anyone have any feedback on using 3/8 fuel line? I was going to buy 3/8 hydraulic but was told it would'nt clamp properly...too stiff. |

Inter-city contracting today Saaayyyyy, don't i know that place? Near north central airport in Lincoln/Smithfield RI? On the fuel line for oil, that's what i used last year when i had my X1 apart.I bought it from Precision for about the same price as an autoparts store.I kept the old protective sleeving that is used underneath the bike to the oil tank,it's valuable.Even if you buy some new from the dealer.Stainless braided stuff tends to kink at the needed bends. Oh yeah, remind me to tell you what happened when i used the same type of line for my fuel injection. (Message edited by ducxl on February 26, 2008) |

Yeah Limerock Rd off Rte 7 They did a sweet job for $120. Ever seen the Astronaut Farmer? I'm going to the moon...I'm taking this fuel line. Oh... and I will crank Maiden while I build my HOG ROCKET In 1983 I was still grounded from 1982 from sneaking out to see Ozzy at 11 years old. Thanks Greg |

greg i'm doing the same striping over the airbox, but i ran into some problems with that last night. they used a super glue to stick the X on my airbox and the sh*t is like concrete so i gotta do a lot of sanding and wet sanding to clean the airbox off before the vinyl goes down. the windscreen went OK i got a few really small air bubbles but not too bad...the 2" strip was a pain in the ass to work with(i'm not a pro)i'm gonna tackle the front fender stripes tonight. i think the orange added a lot of life to the old cityX (Message edited by ustorque on February 27, 2008) (Message edited by ustorque on February 27, 2008) |

Do they allow motorcycles at Limerock? Otherwise,PA is your next closest track |
