Just finished up some new sliders. I wanted something different and since I've made a lot of pointy stuff on my S-1(you have to be careful bending over to check stuff out so you're not gouged on the way up) and decided to carry over to the "25r". I know that the front will probably never touch the asphalt but they complete the look.
coated and installed

sweet nipples of metal

rear installed

Are those Delrin, or did you paint the aluminum?

Very nice look.

Zack, rubber coated to give them a matte black look. The aluminum was too shiny for the rest of the bike and the coating was just right to tone it down.

BTW, A friend did the carving to my design on his lathe and I coated them. So if anyone is interested in a custom set let me know and I'll hook you up with him.

Well, that did it.
I ordered the chuck I needed for my Shurline benchtop lathe.
It'll hold up to 1.5" rod, so I'll be turning my bar-ends, sliders and footpegs soon.
Thought about it a bit, still haven't decided whether to use Aluminum or Brass.
Bar-ends first, then sliders.
Pegs are going to take some more thought.
