First, what is the inner diameter of the clip that connects to the end of the handlebars? I have barend mirrors that incorporate a 'post' which secures them to the bars...so my thought is if it is the same diameter I would just be able to install them to the mirrors. Also, how do they mount to the other side of the grips? Thanks in advance! |

The hole for the handguard is quite small.

Also, the handguard attaches to the bar on the other side of the handgrip by a metal bracket that has a long bolt running hrough it vertically, creating a three point(in all) attaching, pivoting handguard. -soren i can provide pic if needed, but I just realized that I posted to an old thread, and dont want to put any unused effort into helping people out. |

Thanks for the info...but I'm afraid you're a bit late in arrival, lol. I picked up a set of hand guards in the fall and modified them to fit. Very happy I did as they definitely helped my finger tips! Thanks for the pic anyway. |

To do the same thing, I ended up putting a small hole in each of those "ears", and using a black cable tie to hold them snug to the bar. Looks and works fine. |

Agreed, my fingertips have, many times, been at the mercy of the cold. But with the handguards, I feel more protected...and warm. |
