Soo i am finding myself in need of a new bike but i have never much been a fan of the "sportbike" look or ergos. I love much of the 1125r but still cant bring myself to get past its appearance. Sooo... any rumors of the certainly inevitable 1125s? I am trying to stop myself from going and buying... a... triumph... or something. |

Do you still want the overall performance and look of the 1125R, yet higher handlebars for a more up right seating position? If so, bar raisers may be all you need. |

looking for a naked bike and all that such a thing involves, its a different look that brings with it different ergos. I am always surprised when i get on a firebolt at how difficult it is to turn. Its just not what i am used to at all. i want handlebars.. |

do not believe in rumors, buell will not tell anyone till the very end, so I do not think anyone could tell you that there is one coming, just wait and see or buy and convert. Mike |

its not that i think there is particularly credible rumors, but rumors do tend to start before new bikes are released, its not that the information in the rumor is accurate but that something new is coming. Happened with the 1125 and with the TT (only two i've been around to see come along) but i havent caught any rumors which makes me worry the naked bike is longer away than than the 08-09 production |

well, if I remember correctly the new models may get announced in July. We still have a few months before any rumors start flying. |

If I recall correctly the 1125R does not have a lot under that front fairing (unlike the firebolt), and if the tops of the forks are the same diameter as the XB... This lead me to believe that if one is so inclined you could swap out the 1125R fairing with the one from the lighting (as well as use the lightnings handlebar set-up) Although in that case the radiators may become overwhelming. |

Try out a TT for size. You may like it. They still haven't gotten the 1125R right yet. Until those issues were sorted, I'd be willing to bet you won't see any other variation of that motorcycle, other than a color change. I can't wait to see what colors are available for 09. |

Interex I had Al from American sport bike measure the forks to see if a xb top clamp would fit and he said they are close but in know way would the xb top clamp would fit the 1125R. Now do shoot me I had my own reasons for asking and know Al so I knew if anyone would know it would be him, and he told me to find this rumor and squash it. Mike |

Micah, back in Sept. at the Harvest Classic show I met one of the main H-D financial officers out of the DFW area. He was riding a Uly,how cool is that. I was telling him that I was signed up for the inside pass in Oct. to try the the "25r". He admired my S-1 and asked if I was really interested in the "25r" or wanted another streetfighter. He told me THERE IS A NAKED VERSION COMING SOON. Granted I wanted a touring sportbike and the new one has taken my heart. He didn't give me any dates but if they can get all the bugs worked out on the "25r" before the new year models roll out I wouldn't be surprised if it's included. |

now whether or not that rumor is trash frankly doesnt matter, Thanks for responding to my question Blazin_buell. that being said i decided i really shold embrace the fairings. no bike ive ever owned had em... but .. they probably actually are a good idea.. |

I've never ridden with a fairing either. I use the windshield on my Dyna a little in the spring and again in the fall when it cools off. But for the most part I like being in the wind. A perfect fairing for up here in Maine would be a design that has a boundary later of air over it that prevents any bugs from striking the fairing. That might get me more interested in a fairing. the 2007 uly has the same diameter forks as the 1125r, and the xb drop pegs will bolt right on. At the bike release at mid-ohio buells corporate answer to a when future naked model would be available was some like lets stick to the current 1125R and avoid speculation. I asked a few buell reps about a naked version at the Cycleworld show in Cleveland and got " we only talk about current models" and they both ended the conversation and walked away. I like this photo shop version but unfortunately I don't think the xb head lights will be able top turn inside the rads. But its defintely a good start |

I most make 2 correction to my post above, Im not sure if the uly top clamp will bolt on the 1125r,possible rake issues, I just know the forks are the same diameter also my type-o about mid-ohio should say {something like lets stick to the current 1125} sorry for my grammer lol |
