LOL I didn't realize that I had my eyes closed so much. Thank goodness Charlie was there to make sure I didn't screw anything up! actually it was the thought of dropping through a corner and having the crossroads go ahead and crack off, talk about a magnitude 5 pucker moment!! |

Any jazz piano fans? Pat just bought tickets for Chick Corea with Bela Fleck duo, March 17, a Monday, at 8pm in Greensboro at the historic Carolina Theatre downtown. My mother turned 75 a few days ago, so she is coming too. My late father was one helluva bassist, mostly jazz standards. That's where the love comes from. We have been listening to Chick for 30+ years, and he can still play his ass off! We've got two spare bedrooms if there are any rabid fans, like me, are out there! Yeah Webe, The XB12XT was cool. The pictures of it taken inside don't do it justice. Here in 'Bagger Alley'.
25th anniversary plate.
It was so nice that they allowed us to roll it outside for some better pictures even though the weather didn't look too friendly. Here with a nice profile shot.
And here's a different angle.
Looks stunning in black, 1313 |

Jim - I am glad you got to go to the dinner. It looks like you guys had a great time. 1313 - I like the pictures of the XB12XT. I hope to see it soon too. I would love to compare the seat height. Maybe I will lower the Uly one day. I like those black wheels too. I don't know where yet, but the 10-day forecast shows mid-sixties and sunny next weekend. I am riding somewhere! Any ideas? |

Yea I like the black wheels too but something is missing or not just right with the XT. The guys at Shelton's are a great bunch of salesmen ,I think they know we are high millage group. We lean more to the Motorcyclist side vs. Bikers side of life, even though some of us have some shiny pipes. m2nc; How about lets go to Fayetteville. Webe- I agree! Thanks for your help with the wheel swap! 1313 |

Sweet Brankin. Fayetteville has possibilities. I want to check out some Draggin Jeans and then we can ride off around the Uwharrie. I believe we can find a couple of guides in the area. |

Just put 200 miles on the bike 2day, and stopped into Cycle Gear, Twice! First time was to look around, the second time was after Pete did his impression of an Airborne Ranger on a muddy road. Only broke off his bar end!!! I tell you what guys-this bike is almost too fast! I cannot, I repeat, cannot keep the front wheel on the ground in first and second if I am at anything past 1/4-1/2 throttle. After leaving CG, we headed out past some guys on a Gixxer and one on a ZX9. The guy in the lead let me pass him up, I knew he did so I stayed in 3rd gear running 50-55. I heard him goose it up, so I followed suit. Last time I seen him he went through an intersection about 4 seconds after I slowed and turned. It cut top end down to about 120-123, but damn it is on rockets getting there. I am gonna need new clutch plates for sure. I wanted to do it on the install, but could not finance it. Brankin, looks great, can't wait to see what else you are gonna do. |

Today's mod: Black center section on the chin fairing. Sorry, too dark for any pics. But I guess that was the point... Tomorrow's mod: Installing battery tender leads on the battery and (finally) hooking it up to the battery tender. 1313 |

Yes, I have a spot open. I do need to go ahead and collect the remaining $$ so I can send off a check next week. Carlos really needs to get away. Carlee hasn't been feeling well this week. All three kids have had fevers 101+. I think he needs a Daddy Weekend away without being responsible for anyone else. Work has SUCKED...needless to say, he needs a good long ride. Got a sofa he can sleep on ? |

I've posted the MBV Volunteer Schedule on the MBV thread. Please check it out and post "OK" or post any corrections. Viki needs to have an accurate schedule if possible! Thanks! http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=4062&post=1082300#POST1082300 |

Howdy folks. I threw this out earlier, but now I can announce it. We will be having a Daytona 200 viewing party here at Ray Price Buell on March 8th starting at around 1pm. The race starts at 2pm. We will have door prizes and light snacks. As people want to take a break from watching, we will have demo bikes available including the 1125R. I have to teach that morning, but should be able to socialize (not work) afterwards. I won't be able to make MBV, so this my way of spending time with ya'll. Feel free to pass this along to other people you think may be interested. |
