OK RAY, you've shown you know how to find places if you have the Address...3813 N. GOVE, for instance. I have EVERY gasket and 'O' ring needed to complete Betty Buell's repair...finaly. Got the evil goddanm base-turd gasket finaly OFF! Jebus what a PAIN! Other shit is cleaned and shiny. What the fuck is I gona do 'till it's a bike again! Paul, I was on a 6th grade field-trip to Victoria with TWO classes of 11 year-olds. The new word for the naughties ('00) is...TIGHT. If it's good it's 'tight'. 'Dad, that's tight. He's tight. that would be tight...etc., etc!' JAVA, looks like it's worth it for a 'keeper' bike. I like the looks also. BOB, what do you need a pic of? I could use the $ laterGALEN |

Javahed, thanks for the info, I think I'll wait before I stock these, I'm sure they'll put you back a few duckets. On the Millenium X1 they use aluminum cast footpegs and they're cheap. Left # N0403.Q $24.95 Right # N0404.Q $24.95 Canadian probably $15 each US. Lockhart Phillips makes some anodized ones, but I forget the price. The millenium pegs polish up nice to go with that polished 01 style shifter. Tell me what you think when you've spent some time with the Scott's filter. |

Yes they do polish up nicely: I bought mine when they were $7.95 USD each. The Scotts Oil Filter costs $120 but seems really cool. It's a good looking piece of billet aluminum. I'm looking forward to a little bit of extra overtime in the next two weeks so maybe I'll get one. |

FMJ - I bought a euro gearing rear sprocket for the salt on ebay. It came with adjusters that I was told will allow me to run the stock belt, I hope this is the case as I would like to run a belt. This is for the early swing arm. |

Galen - If your S3 is in a good state of tune it will do 130 on the salt. Was there a post here a few days ago about a guy looking into Aerochargers, and if so did I reply to him? |

Firemanjim, we used the 29tooth front pulley #40205-95 and a 55rear 37727-97Y when we set the record. I think we also used the stock belt for the extra wheelbase and made axle adjuster plates for the end of the early box chro-mo swingarm. I have a 55rear in stock thats been there awhile, so if you need it I'll give you a deal. Javahed, those footpeg part numbers are Buell and our price is Canadian. Raymaines got a deal, expect to pay $15-$20 US now. |

The cheap foot pegs in question are from the X1 Millennium edition. I’m guessing it’s a 2001 model. I don’t know the part number for the left side peg but the right side is “N0403.Q -- Footpeg, Billit Aluminum, R.H.” Way back in the day they were $7.95 ea., the last time I bought one it was $10.00 (maybe $10.95) and they probably are $15 apiece now. A word of caution here, the part about the pegs being “Billit” is totally bogus. They’re cast and are pretty rough before you start to polish them. About the same quality as the shift linkage or rear break pedal. |

Roadrash - good, I looked throught the last few days and thought I was going nuts. 11 lbs. of boost at 2500 RPM, did they change some things? My system makes only a pound or two, depending on load, under 3K. The pound or two is a good thing too, part of their whole variable vane technology. Maybe they improved things. |
