I'm the second owner of these bags the previous owner did make a minor mod to the brackets for a "tidy tail". If your not running a tidy tail (like me) a couple washers compensate for the mod and it installs and works fine. $350 plus shipping. Last week after waiting to hear from him for 2 weeks for a total price shipped he sends me an email saying the bags are boxed and ready to go. I sent a money order last Saturday 3/1/08 and did not here from him or get the bags as of thursday 3/7/08. Sent him a bunch of emails to see what was up. This is his responce. I'm sorry to tell you that I'm sending your money order back to you. The bags got damaged by the moron father in law. Now how did that happen? He also has the bike for sale with the bags. I am just wondering if he sold the bike with the bags. If so that is F---ked up. Now my next problem is If he sends the money order back, will I be able to cash it? It was made out to his name. I emailed him a few times to call me but no responce yet. Told him to cash the money order and get a new one made out to me. Chris, if you are reading this I really need to speak to you. I really only need the left bag. Let me know if that bag was damaged. So far this has really been a big waste of my time. I am not happy about this at all. If he sends you your check back with your name, just take it to the bank. They'll void the check out and put the funds back in your account. I'm out the bags and a chest freezer which I had to replace on the spot in order to not loose a freezer full of food.
