Well here I am in the good ol midwest, Kansas City MO to be more precise, and its only 17 degrees. But at least its up 10 from this morning. I was just scrolling through some pictures and thinking about the good days when I could ride my Buell. I wish I could come move in with someone in Florida or something and ride it all year. I found this picture from my last trip to Arkansas that still cracks me up. I did it once before but the load wasnt quite as big. I made some modifications to my bike over the winter and will post some pics of it up here in a little bit. I mounted up some pro tapers and a GPS, put on one of those nice Rizoma license plate brackets. I made up a good looking muffler but I am not going to brag about it until I get it mapped. For all I know it might make less power now. I hope not tho. I bought the air filter kit and Direct Link mapping euipment from Al at American Sportbike.com. Great bunch of guys there. Anyway, dont want to bore you all....but welcome to my world. Cant wait to ride my Buell. Hey Cochise, you guys have a date set for your first Arkansas ride? Im jonesin. And for all you kids going to Daytona next week, look us up. We will be racing both the CCS/ASRA weekend and AMA Supersport and Superstock on my Yamahas. If youre down in the paddock area swing by. Ill be sprting #74 the first weekend for the CCS/ASRA racing and #174 for the AMA stuff. Travel safe.

You see the line where the blue meets the orange..... you need to move below it. It's 67F and sunny here. |

I hear you, everytime the temp comes up and the roads finally start drying from all the snow melt it seams like that next day its back to bitter cold and snow/rain/everything else. I think last year I was able to ride almost everyother week. these I can't even remeber the last time I fired it up. ARRRR |

Hey guys I 'm in the same boat, I'm in Nova Scotia Canada.(top right corner of Ustorque's map)just counting down the days till spring, to take the bike out for a burn. Have been doing a few mods myself. Race ECM, open airbox kit, right side air scoop, freespirts pulley tensioner, and pulley cover, spike sliders, integrated rear brake light with signals, pazzo levers, precision engineering rear brake and shifter, Drummer muffler and catch can, bar end mirrors, and British gas mask. And last put not least, a Osbe fighter pilot flat black helmet. Just itching to get out and ride. |

Man you don't want to live in Fl, set your sites on the Big Bend this time of year. You are about 800 miles away to some awesome winter time riding. It's usually in the 60-70's this time of year. http://www.hilliard.ws/bigbend2006/bigbend.htm |

Keith... Are you not running a front slider in that pic? Trying to reduce front weight for easy wheelies |

Since it's going to rain today through Friday, I went out for a ride yesterday. While I was out riding, I got "that feeling", you know the one, the one you get when you're ripping it up, and exit a corner perfectly while setting up for the next, and the exhaust note is perfect...I love riding. I really hate it for y'all that are stuck in the snow. I hate snow, and winter. Anything that keeps me from riding is extra low on my list. At least Spring is next month! |

984gasm - Its the ventura rack system. It works great and there are several different packs you can buy for it. Skully - I am racing the CMRA endurance series with a few guys here in Kansas City. Are you going to be at Motorsport Ranch on the 22nd? Well have to hook up if so. The team owner will be down there at Oak Hill this weekend with his boy racing the minis. He just build a new bike for him to ride, a TZ125 chassis powered by a Kawasaki 110 that has been built to the moon. Good luck to you this weekend. |

Jess - LOL Yep, I didn't run front sliders until I started getting photos from folks that crashed with them. Now I do! Matt - OHR is only 30 minutes away for me so I try to race there every chance that I can. Going out of town with travel expenses, meals, and lodging makes it much more expensive. Making MSR will depend on how the DarkHorse racing budget is holding up. It's great getting to meet fellow BadWeBers. Stay tuned... Keith |

Here's the link to the US site for ventura. I have that system too, and it is really good. Completely bolt-on for the XB9S. Make sure you cover the paint on the tail with a thick towel or something when you change racks. Easy to slip and create a scratch! http://www.cycleventure.com/ -roadrash1 |

Woot! Took my Lightning out for a ride here in upstate NY. The temperature is lower than our presidents IQ, but it felt great! |
